Did you know that in 2006 the top 2% income earners made just 1.3 trillion dollars.....if Obama could tax them at 100% he would bring in just that amount and the following year there would be nothing for them.


In 2006 if you add up everyone making $75,000 or more the total would be just under 4 trillion dollars.

I think there is a good possibility that within the next 10-15 years there will be some type of military take over in this country to get somewhat of a handle on the corruption in both parties and the media. Now Obama and the social-ist-tics are going after off-shore tax havens. Not that the IRS has not been doing this already for decades, but they are especially leaning on Switzerland, demanding the release of over 50,000 names of account holders in the USA.

These accounts have been passed from Grandfather, to father, to son for generations. I think Obama may very well be pissing off too many of the "wrong" kinds of people very quickly.

Obama is going after the charities too. He wants to be the messiah of giving ...he wants government to be the decider of who receives charity. We know how effective the government programs for welfare are!

He's proposing to limit (not do away with) charitable deductions for high income folks. They can still give to charities, they just wouldn't get as large a deduction. This is only "going after charities" if you assume that the only reason anyone gives to charities is so they can get a deduction. Lots of studies by economists have shown this not to be the case. Maybe in your case it's true...I don't know. I'm one of those people whose deductions will be reduced, and I can assure you it will have no effect on my giving.

And going after the serious tax cheats is somehow "socialist"? Now I have absolutely heard it all.

Obama is sticking his nose where he should not; thinking you are the Messiah is a very different thing than actually being the Messiah. Lets face it. Eventually, after the being rich thing is made not so cool anymore like it used to be in the USA, the extra taxation will trickle down to the middle man; history repeats itself..................and the same people who found a way to avoid the taxes then, will find a way to avoid it in the future. The world economy is built on greed, conquest and murder; don't ever be so naive as to think anything different. They are letting Obama preach his pretty unity songs because it is what people want to hear right now; but more regulation and taxation will settle onto the working man sooner or later, which is the only reason they are letting him rant as he does.

The USA economy will go even further south; Mexico will become more unstable; Canada will cry we all don't have our shit together and blame all their economic problems on us; the goal for the WORLD BANK is to have one currency for this part of the globe called the AMERO; one united currency for Mexico, USA and Canada. When things get even shittier around here, people will beg for it; then, what we used to know as the USA will be nothing more than another socialistic union state in the World banking market, no different from any of the countries now using the Euro.

Obama has announced plans on racking up an extra ~$30,000 in Federal credit card debt per man woman and child in the US over the next 10 years. Even after massive tax increases. I really wish all you guys wouldn't have given him MY credit card. Giving Obama the national credit card was apparently about as smart as giving a credit card to one of the Lao girls.

I mean seriously, the Lao girls around here think that way. "Well, I borrowed WAY to much money, now I can not pay my bills. Therefore, I need to borrow way more money so I can go to the casino so I can win enough money to pay my rent".
