and Erip what you said really hits home. If you need to create a ruse, then do it - just stay in contact. When I went to Frankfurt, that was the first time I didn't let them (or anyone) know where I was going, partly because we have relatives right outside of Frankfurt (2 of whom are coming to New York for Thanksgiving). But it's just as easy to say that I'm going on business and will have a tight schedule. And Khun Mor's system is probably the one I'll follow - upon arrival, email the contact phone number (sometimes you don't know it until you arrive) and then enjoy your trip.
