I too, plan to move to Rio in a year or two at the most. My advice to members who are planning to move to Brazil, Thailand, or any place they care to live, is this: go ahead and do it.

Yes, get advice from others, especially from those that are already living there right now, because they have the experience. Remember moving to live in another country with a totally different culture is not for everyone. So, most people will advice you against it.

But, as I always say... if your mind and your heart isn't going in the same direction, follow your heart.
