Yes they get paid by every pop under and or commission from each sale.
Yes if you reformat your drive it will get rid of them.
What they have is 2 different files. Thier main files and "ghost" file hidden somewhere else. If you delete the main files it will remain delted until you powerup and the ghost will download the file again to your harddrive.
This is pretty new and people are still wondering what the fuck is going on. Many think they are viruses which isn't too far from the truth.
