A lot also depends on how good is your Spanish and/or your "experience" with streetwalkers in the US. While it is certainly a "cool" idea to buy her a soda, it would also seem very "weird" to her. Negotiating in the street really is a fact of life there. You'll just have to get up the nerve and get your feet wet. 2) While it makes perfect sense to you (comfort, cleanlyness, security, etc...) it may not be the same to her. She is used to the hotel and the surrounding environment. She may not be so sure about going with a stranger to some place she's not familiar with and have no friends around.
