| After a good 7+ months of being closed. I was beginning to think that Chicago had bought it out and included it in its slow-moving expansion plans like the other 2 restaurants that were next door to CC. As rumored, Tacos Primo had been closed due to the fact that the owner Francisco had been stabbed. He still has a bandage around his midsection. IMO, this is the best place for tacos in TJ. The tortillas are bigger than you will find anywhere else, and you can't beat the location, 2 doors down from CC. They offer something I have yet to see at other taco stands, 'suadero' which is pretty much slow-cooked roast beef, as well as the standard carne asada and al pastor.
