Just a slight historical correction here: Although MuleLip might know of a Patty Wagon...the correct phrase is paddy wagon, left over from that golden era in American history when the Irish were known as "paddys"...Now I'm not sure if the "paddy wagon" became known as that because it was frequently loaded with Irish "detainees" or if it became known as that when the Irish became the dominate members of the NYC police force... A very-light skinned bilingual Mexican-American friend of mine was set up on a blind date by one of his Mexican buddies. When he showed up at the morena chicana's house for the introduction, she turned to the guy who had set up the date and said to him, "Hey, I'm not goin' out with no "paddy"... KRICO
