Thank you brother Strike... The definition of "Rock bottom" is different for each individual (e.g. how would a starving Etheopian in Africa define "rock bottom"?). For me, having control and responsibility of my finances is very important...when I lost it..and my bank cancelled my account, I felt that I had hit "Rock bottom". Although I agree that my actions described in my post sound like the acts of an out of control neurotic individual in need of addictive personality therapy...Bear in mind my friend that my post was added to a thread focased on warning Newbies of the addictive nature of the Zona. I put my negative experience out in the open to educate not to discourage....As any Newbie can see by the vast information on the discussion board most Zona related experiences are positive. Although my post may have come across as a plea for help...I actually wrote it to stress the importance of listening and following the advice of the Veteran Mongers...e.g. If I had listened to Veterans who advised me on ways to budget money in the Zona and still have fun...I would have saved hundreds maybe thousands of dollars. And if I had listened when they told me that my Viagra/C-Meth combo was both dangerous/stupid I would have saved myself some grief as well. So basically, my post reflected: My downfall due to the addictive nature of the Zona in conjunction with my disregard of Veteran advice.... the realization of my errors...the decision that I will continue mongering...but I will do so in a responsible manner. What I mean by Mongering responsibly is adhearing to advice given by fellow mongers who had positive experiences or made mistakes...learned from them...and share their insight on the discussion board so that others can benifit. So in the spirit of sharing personal experiences so others can benifit...I contributed mine. |
