Brother TF, I'm not sure I see why that last part of your message is relevant to the issue--i.e., whether the chicas do or do not care that we think about this at all or do or do not think us capable of understanding their motivations does not really have much to do with the issue here. Namely, whether OUR decisions to participate in the hobby are OBJECTIVELY contributing to a fucked-up situation. And I agree with what Bro. Red says in his last--I don't think anyone here is trying to point any fingers and blame people (we'd be blaming ourselves, after all!)--just trying to get at the moral complexity of it all. |
