As others have said, it comes down to money for the waiters. If you aren't drinking and there are some dudes waiting for a table, you will get bumped. But if you are drinking and tip the waiter some decent tips, I don't think that you will get booted. You might have to share your booth/table if you are alone, but if you are drinking, that's all that matters. If I sit down and see a new waiter I don't know, I usually try to talk to the guy and get to know him. Or I find a cool waiter and keep him busy getting drinks so I have a friend that will back me up. It really helps to have a friend as a waiter. I sometimes bring candy and other items for the chicas but pass it around to the bartenders and waiters that are cool. For the average dumb shit in the clubs, they don't do anything for the help, from the guy in the bathroom to the waiters and the bartenders. Hey, they are all trying to make a living and if you stand out as cool, they will remember you. And they will also remember you if you are El Cheapo. Rock |
