I was at CC last Saturday with my newbie buddy who wanted to see the floorshow. I kind of described the place to him as the premier gringo bar after already touring him through Miami, AB, and LaTropa. He eventually got bored waiting for the show to start and wandered back to his hotel room to get some sleep. I stuck around and eventually a waiter came up to me to inform me that my table had been reserved for the evening and I would have to move on in 15 minutes. I could see that he was making an effort to being tactfull, but I got the hint that since I wasn't exactly downing the drinks one after another and since there were lots of people waiting for tables that I was politely being ejected. I told him no problem and give me 15 minutes more. It was not long before I spotted Calista Flockhart. I have never ever seen blond Ingrid, the dancer, alone. NEVER! But there she was in her fetching little 2 piece outfit, holding up a wall just like all the others. I approached her and made some small talk, saying that I remember her from HK, and blah blah blah, and asked her to join me for a drink. Her answer was "No". Thinking that she misunderstood my wretched Spanish, I rephrased my question, which never failed me before, and her answer was still "No". Rejected, ejected, and no floor show, I felt disgusted with the place at the time and left. I do like CC as I have lots of fond memories, but if I were a newbie, I would certainly conclude that CC sucks!
