It is for a SPECIFIC vehicle and SPECIFIC occupants. Taking a different car, or having non registered people in the car invalidate it and you cannot us the Sentri lane.

It operates at only certain times of day. I don't remember what the times were, but generally it is designed for commuters - and operates mostly during the commute time periods.

They will do extensive checking on all applicants. They really don't want to trust you.

And finally, as far as insurance goes - I pay about $150 a YEAR for Mexican Insurance. Full coverage. Compared to paying $10 - 13 per trip that is CHEAP.
