I have found a "relatively" safe way to avoid paying high taxi fares at night (during the day I always walk from P.A. to the zona), when I stay at Pueblo Amigo Hotel is to walk to the Autobus Terminal at the border from P.A.H. and take the El Centro-La Linea bus to downtown and vice versa. Can anyone tell me how late these buses run? The last time I was in T.J., I asked the tourist offices both at the border and at Revolucion and 1st and neither was able to give me any info re the buses to and from the border.
