You guys are getting way to ethereal for an oridnary pseudo-intellectual like me...but I sure like the concept. It's just so problematic to be so "aware" when one is so "shit-faced."... I think of all the Esalen-influenced books published in the 70's..."The Inner Game of Tennis", "The Inner Game of Golf", "The Inner Game of In Her", etc... And then of course, there's the prototypical golf film, "Caddy Shack(Up)", which introduced the concept of Zen Golf(a)...("Golfa" means a kind of "loose woman" in Spanish...) Likewise, I see myself strolling blindfolded around Adelitas, feeling my way from chica to chica, not knowing which one to select, when Bill Murray stands up at the bar, spraying beer spittle from his lips and yells, "BE YOUR BALLS, KRICO! BE YOUR BALLS!" Yep... |
