Exactly so. When you're hungry, just eat. When you're tired, just sleep. When you're horny, just fuck. "Just" is the difficult part. It's so hard to simply live, just being in the moment, and so easy to get distracted by all sorts of other things--idle thoughts, judgments, fantasies, memories--that take us away from the reality of what we're experiencing at the moment. As one master said, "Humans spend their whole lives either remembering the past or fantasizing about the future, without ever actually experiencing the present." You say you have no desire to lead a spiritual life, but, hey, being at one with a chica in la cama IS the dharma, baby, as much as anything else is. BTW, one of the most strange and wonderful things I've experienced in TJ is running into a club chica who actually understood all this. We'd talk about "right thinking", and then fondle each other, talk about meditation, then I'd get a BJ, talk about being one with the moment during sex, and then screw. Sometimes the spiritual path can really take a lot out of a guy!
