I tried something a little different this weekend. Instead of heading straight through after passing the gate into Mexico, I went right and exited that gate. Then I went left down the sidewalk to the parking lot, where I made another left, thus coming up from the bottom of the lot. There are plenty of drivers down there who will be happy to take you to the zona for $5. No bullshit, no arguments, no demands for "teeps." Best of all, you get to avoid those yellow-shirted pricks who stick you into a cab and then try and squeeze extra money out of you. I never use the cabs in front of AB anymore. I walk over to CC where I have never gotten any shit at all, and always find a cabbie to take me back for $5, sin argument. This if for those of you who find these little tricks annoying, and don't have the view of "oh, gee, it's ok because it's only another dollar."
