What I heard yesterday about the Street Girls is: 1) They mostly have a boyfriend/pimp who requires them to stand in a pre-selected area until they generate sufficient cash (usually about 1500 pesos a day). This person is called their 'padrote'. 2) Because of the padrote, the SGs will not leave their area unless it is to go to the one hotel they are allowed to use, or a quick meal. |
