In Mexico it is close to impossible to get the average males wages attached for child support. If the chica is in Mexico, she is going to have to contact a U.S. attorney, and file against the father in a U.S. court. However, if it gets nasty, the chica faces the possibility that the guy will 1) challenge her claim, which is going to cost her time and money, and result in a paternity test (for which she will have to travel to the U.S. 99% of the time, and 2) the guy may get nasty about what he says about her "profession". In the U.S. it is likely he could claim custody of the child, and likely gain custody, based on the mother's work as a prostitute. Plus, she will never be allowed into the U.S. because U.S. law specifically prohibits prostitutes (or former prostitutes) entry to the U.S.
