This may not be a popular reaction, but here's my honest reaction. If there's ever any doubt the zona has too much publicity, here it is. Now we got fuckin' broads showing up at AB with their boyfriends to do lesbian shit. I mean, no hostility intended, nice post, but sheeeet. OK, well welcome to the sport of mongering anyway. No reason we can't open it up to women. What next? Day trips from the special ed center? Ladies night? Senior citizen discounts? I am not surprised she had trouble finding a chica to go for it. Despite their line of work, most of the chicas are pretty conservative, and aren't looking for anything too weird. On a less controversial note, the ripoff scams are soooo typical. As much as they want to talk about American insensitivity and judgmentalism down there, they just instantly pegged you as a naive American couple, down from the U.S. for the first time for the day to get drunk, and a perfectly good target for a scam. That's a judgment many people down there make all the time. It's as unfair about any judgment they would complain about. It's so bad that sometimes I'm paranoid about being ripped off even when I'm not, and then feel guilty about asking for an accounting later. But that's life south of the border.
