This is also response to Eraserhead below, I just figured this wasn't really about AB/CC dancers. By 3:00pm (around when I got there) there were large numbers of police on both ramps, the last before Mex and the first out of Mex. The first before Mex had at least 20 officers on each side of the road in riot gear. They also had the pedestrian bridge on the US side closed down (Many disgruntled pedestrians). From what I heard on the bus ride coming in, there was some kind of free trade protest scheduled that was supposed to be coordinated at the same time as Canada. The group was going to attempt to shut down all traffic at border. Who? No idea, anyone know the specifics?
