RoadHawg, Ceasar's Hotel and the Restaurant use to be premium places. The Hotel (IMHO) is a dump and I would never stay there again. The last time I stayed there was over seven years ago and it had already fallen. The Bar use to be fantastic. They use to have cheap drinks. They even had tecate on tap and it was excellent. Fifteen years ago when I use to go to Ensenada a lot my buddies and I would stop in here for the steak dinner and Ceasar Salad. The steaks were about the best you get in Mexico and the salad was very good and everything was very reasonable. Then Ceasar's went on strike for about four or five years and when they finally reopenned they also remodeled. It was much fancier, but it was not a real cheap place to hang out at. I was told a woman bought the bar and she would be in the bar at night. Then there was a screw up for about a year where they could not sell alcohol. The bar and restaurant are up and running now. I was told the woman no longer owns it. The food I have had there has been from average to bad. However, I would still reccommend the Ceasar Salad. The Ceasar Salad's are made by the waiters from scratch and the show is excellent. My amiga and I had her last meal in Tijuana there and it was a shame that the food was so bad. We decided to split the Ceasar and she had shrimp and I had steak. The only good thing was the salad and we both commented that had we known that we would not have ordered anything else. Definitely make sure that they have you make the salad at your table.
