StrikeEagle, I don't know how much of an indicator on the culture THIS is, but last week (just for the hell of it), I picked up a couple of those tiny Mexican comic books they sell at every newsstand (and that I've seen multiple bathroom attendants reading at some clubs). Besides the soft porn illustrations, showing every young woman with chi-chis grandes busting out of their blouses, "Daisy Duke" shorts with las nalgas popping through, etc....I was surprised at some of the extreme violence displayed towards the female characters. Rape (anal and otherwise), men beating the women with fists, sticks, etc., graphic stabbings, scenes of bondage. Macho is one thing, but some of the scenes kinda tripped me out. But, then again, it IS just a comic book...so maybe I'm reading too much into it. RoadHawg Come to think of it, I remember one copy of "Archie Comics" where Jughead takes a 2 x 4 and beat Veronica's naked body...nahhh.
