I recently talked to an amiga of mine who doesn't work in the zona but is in the "biz" so to speak in TJ. Without going into too much detail (sorry, I promised her I wouldn't), she was accosted (assaulted) by a girlfriend of one of her "clients". Now, I'm amazed at how many times chicas have asked me if I was married or had a girlfriend and were surprised when I said "no". What I'm more amazed at is the amount of mongers who do have one or the other (or both!) and freely admit it. Now, I'm not playing "Morality Police" here but IMHO anyone who does have a wife or girlfriend shouldn't be getting on any soapboxes and preaching about any wrongdoings of a chica or monger. I know this will probably open a big can of flaming and so be it! I know that if I was "involved" with someone, I certainly wouldn't be going to TJ (or elsewhere!)...but that's ME. Now, I'm not talking about a "Zona Novia" which is just another term for "Favorita", but a truly "commited" relationship where promises have been made. My amiga (from above) has now been banished from her job and the "girlfriend" has also told her family so she has that burden to bear. This is not a girl who shrank away from "internet fame" and actually liked her popularity due to it...but because of a jealous girlfriend...her life has taken a dramatic turn down.
