The name describes my level of experience at this international hobby. I make pretty good money as a professional here in the US, and know all of the local haunts. When I started to travel, I would do research on WSG or TSM before a trip, and REALLY improved my time "abroad".

Didja know that in Hong Kong, they have 2 types of brothels? The one for tourists are in the south end of the city, are clearly marked as massage joints, and cost $150 to $300! When you go 20 blocks north and get out of the tourist section, you'll see neon colored flourescent light tubed signs that look like this |||||> and point to a stairway. When you go up the stairs, you get a nice clean room w/shower, the gal of your choice for an hour, full service and all for only $40. Since noone speaks a word of english in the nontourist section of Hong Kong, knowing this BEFORE i got there sure helped!

I'm El Peligroso... didn't come up with the name myself. I took one of my motorcycle riding partners on his maiden trip to TJ. When we had been at AB for awhile, I made my choice (one of the denizens of Hottie Central)and escorted her upstairs. When I returned, my partner said, "Man, you really like to live dangerously, don't you?" Then he thought a few seconds, laughed, pointed at me and called me "El Peligroso", saying it was as close as he could come to "The Dangerous One". Then he proceeded to select the wildest looking young lady in the bar and take her upstairs, saying he had been inspired by my example! Despite the "gringo Spanish" nature of the name, I like it, and it reminds me of that trip... Which wouldn't have been possible without the old Redsnake boards - and I'm grateful that this board now exists for us to discuss our hobby. Thanks, Hombre!

I have been a monger since puberty. Started out in the small country towns of central California during the summer harvest when women would flock to these towns to harvest money from the field workers. Graduated to the brothels in Reno when I was in the Army. Back then the girls only looked at your package to see if you were clean enough to do without a condom. Heidi proceeded to walk over to the table where we sitting and started an argument with Pat. The next thing I knew it was on. Full-blown catfight. I was stunned. Earrings were flying and clothes being ripped off. The bouncers seemed confused also. They did not want to stop the fight but they had too. As they were torn apart from each other the usual words of discontent towards each other poured out of their mouths. As Pat sat next to me again I asked her what that was all about. She mumbled some words about "next in line" or something of that nature. Pat then preceded to take me up stairs and suck and fuck my brains out for free. Apologizing for her behavior. Shortly after that Heidi disappeared and Pat left the business to get married.

Oh, I guess I should introduce myself a little since I never have before. It'll be quick and painful...or is that supposed to be painless?

I'm 25, originally from Massachusetts but moved to San Diego about three and a half years ago. Fortunately, before I moved here, I read Brockton O'Toole's famous FAQ and familiarized myself with the zona norte. Since then, at the VERY least, I head to Adelitas' about twice a month, only that few because of budgetary concerns.

I chose my handle, 'CoolHandLuke' after the movie, because I am a HUGE movie fan and I am pretty sure I saw this film right before I got my membership here. Can't do much better than Paul Newman though.

My name is "Dogster" and I'm a chica-holic. I have no reasonable excuse for the name--it just came to me in a moment of ..uh.. inspiration. First TJ chica experience was 4 years ago, on Revolution, just after I moved to San Diego. I didn't become an addicted regular until a year and a half ago when friends dragged me to the Zona Norte/CC. I've been the novio a couple times, which I find wonderful and horrifying also. I find that hangin' with chicas south of the border completely skews my relationships with women in the US. SoCal women seem very difficult and crazy anyway, so maybe it isn't all me.

Hi, I am Scoopcat. I went to Europe with my roomate from 9/16 to 10/5 2001. The Redlite district is easy to find. Start at the Amsterdam Central Rail way Station. All the city trolley's go there. When you leave Central Train Station go straight across the street. On your left is the end of a canal. Follow that and turn right. You are now in the RLD Have Fun. Hi. I am new to this and am trying to gather information for my first trip into Tiajuana Zona Norte in February. I will be travelling for a business conference to San Diego. I will have Saturday from 9am until 7pm to myself. Iwas planning on renting a car, making a trip to TJ, and scouting for some fun. I will probably travel alone- since this hobby is not something I share with my coworkers. Unless, I find a good soul here that wants to join me and show me the ropes. I am a bit concerned about safety though. Safety travelling alone, and safety if I meet someone here in this forum that wants to join me. Any replies would be appreciated.

My own observations from your questions are:
1) I'd recommend not taking a rental car across the border on your first visit. If you are already in San Diego, use the trolley system to take you right to San Ysidro where you can walk across and grab a cab to Adelitas. If you have a rental car already, then park it in one of the border lots on the US side.

2) Safety depends on where, what, when. Most important is to stay alert and try to keep a low profile. There is a ton of advice on this topic in the links above.

Good luck, it's a great experience, especially if you have done a little homework first.

Well, I guess I'll stop lurking and toss my hat into this demented little ring. I just wanted to say I've been a paying member for months and have thoroughly enjoyed the site.

My first and only TJ experience was a couple years ago during a bachelor party. As it was winding down, the groom whispered to a few of us..."Hey, I know a place in TJ...". 45 Minutes later I'm in the Adelita Bar with a chica rubbing my drunk dick. I took her upstairs for a spin and always intended on making some more trips. But, the idea of going solo just didn't appeal to me and a trip buddy is not the kind of thing you advertise for on the flyer board at work. Hopefully, I'll find some partners in crime here.
