Stampede is nice bar close to checkpoint Perimeter bar located in same building as Cherry's Club. Near ABC hotel and Edelwies resturant.

Midsized bar with a pool table. 20+ dancers with some hotties and most quite doable. More of a relaxed style than the Field's bars with girls actualley smiling and flirting. SOme occasional nakedness and play noted on my two trip so far. Owner Jim a very friendly guy. Photos allowed, but only non-nude. (best to ask first of course) Bar is a member of DogHouse which meets tuesdays for parties at rotating host bars that include a show, food, and raffle prizes.

I BF'd Reya for a short term back at my hotel. Nice body and sousas to include a piercing down south. Good time, but not great time. Her sister Leslie also works in the bar and is to the left of the handsome guy in the first pic. I would say the girls are fairly typical of the bar.

Stampede was raided recently, but supposedly the owner is now out of jail and everyone is working at Cherries.

His new policy will be 20 years old and higher to work in his bars now. No 18 or 19 year olds. But he isn't firing anyone currently 18 or 19. Just not hiring new ones.

While I understand his desire to protect his business, it is not like the PNP, CIDG, or NBI need a legitimate reason to raid your club. I am not sure this particular policy will protect him as much as he thinks it will. But that is just my opinion.

Wish him the best regardless and wish the raids in AC would calm down.

Just posted yesterday on an AC-centered board, partners had a scare attack and they've decided to close Stampede down. All the girls there will go to Cherries. Apparently, Stampede is on the market - if you have the desire to be a SE Asian pimp.

So they close Stampede and keep cherries open, wow how stupid can they get, what, the NBI won't raid cherries, geez......................

If the NBI wants you they will get you regardless if you hire 20 year olds and up or close one bar but keep the other open, none of that will stop the NBI, makes me wonder how much experiences this guy has in the PI before opening a bar.

No one ever said bar owners in AC were intelligent...

There were multiple owners not just one. Three guys recently purchased Stampede/Cherries from it's previous long term owner. Two guys were part owners of Stampede alone and the third guy Dave who bought Cherries and a third of Stampede. The two guys were newbie bar owners. Dave is a long time vet owner.
After having to come up with 800,000 peso to get Dave and the girls out of jail, the newbies decided bar owning was not for them and have put there share up for sale. I believe Dave will sell his share in Stampede as well and concentrate on Cherries. Some remodeling needs to be done in Cherries and the common entrance with Stampede will go away as well I'm sure.

The way I read Dave's post on PI @ Night, the partners didn't come up with jack shit to get him out of the pokey. He stated that three "local" friends provided the necessary funds to get out and since he has come back to Cherry's it was necessary to take out a loan to meet payroll. I understand their desire to stay out of trouble, but with partners like that who needs enemies?

It amazes me that guys want to move to a foreign country to become pimps, openly engage in activities that are illegal in that country and expect to make a profit. I would suspect that the payouts one would have to make in order to stay in business would be so extensive that making any sort of profit would be difficult - particularly if you are running a small establishment.

I guess I should be thankful they're fulfilling a need, but I wouldn't want any part of that business.

Not to mention the number of foreigners who inexplicably turn up outright dead after conducting business in the Philippines.

It look like they are trying a new model that mosts Fields Bars have or will adopt. You must buy a bottle of coconut moonshine for 1,800 pesos. Cant find a Fields bar under 1,500 pesos now. At 1,800 plus 500 for tip, the price is nearly doubled in 7 years. Remember tht you need to factor in cots of the flight as well.

I've known LVL for several years, he's always been extremely nice to me, and actually gave me some insight into a GF situation when I was totally confused by silly Filipina BS. That said, his sinking ever deeper into the AC mongering "sepoy" role should probably be a what NOT to do warning for anyone considering becoming a 3rd world pimp to extend their fantasy island delusion into real life.

I have no idea what happened in the last raid, but re: bar "partners", many are total absentees, blank-checkbook fantasy camp wannabees. I wouldn't read too much into their not being able/willing to bail the sacrificial lamb out of jail. While it's possible they are indeed evil, it's also as likely that their first notion that their investment was FUBAR was when they read it on the internet.

Stampede(the name Cherry's has supposedly been scrapped) is open with two bars and an open doorway between them. Both sides had only a handful of dancers the week before Xmas in the late afternoon.
