Josephine's (Avenida 9 Calle 2/4)

A legendary strip club. If you have money to burn and want to see strippers, by all means hit Josephine's first. It's a spacious club with downtown's top show. Currently about a $12 drink minimum.

This club is owned by the same owners of Elite. Basically it is the same deal. The girls are rotated between the 2 clubs.

Josephines is a very upscale and cushy strip club in San Jose. I arrived between about 8-9pm, and there was about 8 or 9 girls there. They are beautiful women but nothing special compared to other clubs I have visited in Mexico, and they are on the same par with the other high-end clubs in San Jose…except for one girl. She is only 19 years old, and she is absolutely gorgeous. I had to take her home with me to the Presidente, and so I decided to pay the ridiculously expensive salida one night.

My girl didn’t charge me anything to go with me in addition to the salida, which I am sure she gets a portion of. But, she also went out with me for no money later in the week after we had gotten to know each other. I think she spent three nights with me, and although I did have to pay her salida at Josephines the first time, she did not charge me anything more in addition to the salida. However, I found myself buying her a lot of clothes, taking her to restaurants, taking her and her Colombiana stripper girlfriend to a movie, and generally spending a lot of money on her, etc…So, why did I do it? Why did I let her take me for so much money? One reason my friends…she was the most beautiful and sexual stimulating girl I have ever seen in my life, and I could not resist her. It is that simple. I am not proud of spending a ridiculous amount of money on her, but for me, it was like going back to high school and banging the Captain of the cheerleading squad. But, it was more than just banging the Captain of the cheerleading squad. It was having a GFE with, and possessing the heart of, including having sex with, the Captain of the cheerleading squad. She is only 19 years old, and she is “Playboy Bunny” quality. She has the hard body of a porn star, and the face of a devilish angel. You can imagine what she must look like to work as a stripper in a high-end club like Josephines…she is perfect in every way. So, it’s only money…and I will never forget her. She allowed me to take about (20) nude pictures, and some clothed pictures too, of her in the hotel room. She really enjoyed that, and really seemed to like seeing how each picture on the digital camera turned out after every pose. She is so beautiful, and she really knows it too. I did a little investigating on my own and determined that she almost lost her job because she didn’t show up for work one night because she went with me instead. On that night, she went with me for no money, and of course I never had to pay a salida because she arrived at the hotel by taxi on her own. Anyway, I verified through third party sources that she actually got her pay lowered at Josephine’s because she choose to stay with me, and that the club threatened to fire her if she ever did it again. Furthermore, she was initially insistent on using a condom with me every time. But, when I told her that condoms don’t feel as good, she decided not to use one with me one night, and we never used one after that. I asked her why she decided not to use a condom, and she said it’s because I don’t like them. What an angel! Lately, I have been concerned about not using a condom with these girls, but with her it seemed that she was not very experienced, and everything I had heard indicated that she was relatively monogamous. Actually, I determined through several third party sources of questionable reliability that she is always talking about me, and that she is really excited about our relationship. I also determined that she has only been with one other man in the last six months, so she is not the kind of girl that is a professional whore…more like an very choosy, very occasional freelancer. She apparently only dances at Josephine’s and goes home each night, maybe out to a movie alone or with a girlfriend once in a while, goes to the mall, etc…but, that she does not have any other boyfriends, nor has she seen anyone else for at least six months. One source indicated that she only went with one other hombre from Josephines, but that it was just a one time thing for only 2 hours because he paid the salida to the club, but that she is not like a BM professional. I was told she is a very different girl than the other girls working at Josephine’s in that she doesn’t go with other men unless she is really attracted to them, and for that reason she has not been with anyone else for at least six months. Believe it or not, she still lives at home with her mama and papa. She isn’t allowed to stay out all night, and her mama gets very angry if she tries to do it. Her parents don’t know that she is a dancer. They think she works at a restaurant. She actually made up a story that she was sleeping over at her friend’s house so she could come see me for all night. That is why I think she is relatively innocent…when I consider all that I have been able to find out about her, it seems she is a relatively fresh vixen that is ripe for the picking. She would be a good prospect for marriage if you don’t mind spending some money on her. She really wants out of the life there at the club. She says it is a lot of hard work, and that she doesn’t want to work so late every night. She said she would quite the club when we are married and take a regular job. But, I think she could learn how to spend a lot of money really quickly. She is probably the stereotypical gold digger that is not totally matured yet. She claims that she loves me, wants to marry me, and she wants me to take her back to the USA, but she qualified that by saying that she would be content staying in Costa Rica if I don’t want to take her back to the USA. She doesn’t want me to think she is only interested in marrying because of the prospect of going to the USA. I had a nice GFE with her, but I am not totally crazy…only when it comes to paying the salida and not using a condom. I would never consider marrying her…and to bring her back here to the USA would ruin her for life. Needless to say…she is waiting patiently for me to return to Costa Rica in one month, and she expects to marry me, to come to the USA, and live happily ever after. I know she is hoping for a big casa with a five car garage, a BMW in the driveway (she doesn’t even have a driver’s license), and a nice fat bank account that she can use to buy clothes, do her hair and fingernails, and anything else she can think of. She will be very disappointed, but I can recognize the makings of a scam when I see one. I am not naïve either, I realize she has a crush on me…and that it is probably not me she is in love with, but that she is in love with the prospect of marrying the stereotypical gringo. She hopes to find the man that will sweep her off her feet and take her to the land of milk and honey, where she can live happily ever after. But, it is nice to fantasize that she may actually be attracted to me, which I think she is, and it is really cool to think that such a beautiful creature would actually marry me…what an ego trip she is.

A taxi driver took me to idem and all the girls there were heavy hitters i mean this in a bad way so i told him this wouldn't do i needed flaco meaning skinny for you that didn't know so he said ahhh josephines i said you sure he said yes yes showed me the shape with his hands and i said ok lets go i can say i was a happy camper by far the most beautiful women i've seen in costa rica all seemed about 19-23 and hard bodies if you like that type of thing if not wouldn't reccomend it to you there were no fat ones here. lap dance was like 20 bucks but i did get bbbj not to the finish though but she did offer sex but i needed to get a bottle or something then she gave me her number wanted to come back to my place unfortunately had my girlfriend from the czech rebulic sleeping in the room so couldn't do it anyway going there solo thanksgiving week and heading back to this place for sure. I cant remember how much drinks were but i think they were like 6 bucks that was corona i was drinking but i had a great time there.

Nicole is a strip club on the south side of Avenida 9 between Calle Central and Calle 2 (the first post is off by a block). They were formerly known as Josephine's, and the name change appears to be fairly recent as signs on the interior and menu's still have the old name. Even the DJ (or maybe it was a recording) still refers to the club as Josephines. Their hours are Mon-Sat 8pm-3am.

Nicole sometimes has a cover, I believe it's either weekends only or just on busy nights. When I visited last Thursday (8 days ago), I got in for free, but had to pay a cover on the weekend. There were approximately 8 ladies working. Only one was attractive, very much so on stage, but less walking around. She seemed boring in her interaction with other customers, so I didn't call her over. One other was cute and the rest of the ladies were mediocre. I left unimpressed with the club on this and the following visit, but struck gold on the third. I'll come back to that story later as I'm going through my notes chronologically.

Nicole was the last stop on Tuesday night on my trip last month. I was skeptical given my earlier visits here but I was running out of other good options.

I wasn't charged cover but I made the mistake of ordering a rum and coke without asking the price, 4k colones.

I spotted the one I wanted on the stage soon after walking in, but she joined another group when she came down. It was already 12:45am so I thought I wouldn't get a shot at her, but those guys left after only a few more songs. Cathy spotted me checking her out and joined me.

Prices for sessions were on a menu at the table. 18k colones got you 15 minutes, 23k for 30, and 38k for an hour. There was also the option for a nice room which I think included a jacuzzi and bed, but I didn't take note of that. The options I just quoted were in small, semi-private dance rooms with only a couch. People outside could probably see what was going on but not make out faces, but I think we were alone upstairs the entire time since it was a slow night.

I wouldn't recommend Nicole for comfort unless you're willing to shell out some dough for a nicer room, but there is some nice talent there.
