This is the late night disco that plays electronic music and has a lot of freelancers. Girls go there after the other clubs close and sometimes it is open till 7am. They set it up like a private club so they will give you a buiness card with a member number on it. You print your name, write your member number then sign in. It is a large guest book as soon as you walk in.

They did not do it everynight but they did ask last night. They sell bottles like everywhere. If you do not finish your bottle you can take it or leave it there and finish it the next day. The same guy the runs or owns La Dolce Vida runs Electra. I saw him at both clubs that night.

Girls go to Electra from La Dolce Vida, Mr. Barbillas, Tu Candela and other clubs. More girls dance at Electra than La Dolce Vida where they seem to stand around more.

You can eat pizza at Electra and they have an outside sitting area. Electra is close to Mr. Barbillas and Tu Candela. It is a 10 minute cab ride from La Dolce Vida.

If you ask home much before you get in the cab it seems to cost 6,000cop. If you ask after you get there sometimes they charge 10,000cop. That is from Laquito to Old town or vice versa.

I was in Cartagena mid October of 2010. Elektra was a godsend! It reminds a little of Tequila Rock in Lima. The first night I arrived at 1:00. There was just one over the hill Hooker and myself in the club. About 45 minutes later - it was like someone opened the flood gates, and groups of beautiful (and some not so beautiful) women began to arrive. Most nights there were 50 - 60 girls It's dark and noisy. But it's still better than LDV for negotiating. In a weeks time, I pulled 4 women. The bars were closed Sat & Sun because of an election. Most of the girls I approached were from MDE and Cali I paid between $60 and $100 USD. You have to be willing to walk away. They will call your bluff! And there is a 90% chance that she will be there the next night. I guess you could call it TLN because we started so late. None of them were in a hurry. The sun was up long before they left. It's a good idea to keep your stuff out of sight
They will ask you for anything - pens, gum, your booze.

This place was closed down recently. Real shame. I have no other news about it though.
