I'd only made the decision to go to Thailand a few days ago. My project in the middle east got suspended and although I was to be sent home, I received the OK to delay my trip so I could hit Thailand for a couple of weeks. I fired off an e-mail to my pal, Doc Duei, who spends every winter there. He was an excellent guide on my last trip, four years ago and I looked forward to hooking up with him again.
The bus from the airport would not leave for two hours. At about 150THB, it was a great deal compared to the 1500THB for the taxi. I managed to find two other guys to share the expense and we were soon on our way.
The hotel gave me a very nice room right on the garden. No balcony hanky-panky this trip. I got settled in and took a nap ... well, fell asleep in the tub would be more accurate.
Since I was traveling with winter attire, I had to do a bit of shopping, something I loath to do as the clothes in Pattaya are pretty crummy. I settled for a silk shirt that matched my jeans well enough. I started down Walking Street just before they closed it. It was weird seeing all the changes from three years ago. So many bars have chanced facades and names. Old places have vanished and new places have appeared. I was both lost and comfortably familiar with the street.
Doc rents a room by the year in Windy Inn at the end of the street. I hadn't received an e-mail back from him, so I figured I'd just drop in. At the desk they tell me "Ooooh, Mr. Doc; he dead long time now." What? Apparently, he went back to the states the summer after I visited him and dropped dead from a stroke. Crikey!
I had pictured the two of us hanging out and enjoying good company, but as I walked back up the street, I was in a bit of shock. I identified restaurants and bars we visited just three short years ago and realized that it would never happen again. I was so bummed out I half decided to go back to my room and call it a night.
It was still early and the beer bars were barely open. The ones that had a full compliment of staff were looking pretty long in the tooth; nothing to attract me at all. The go-go clubs were all but closed, but I did peak inside a few I remembered from previous trips. They don't look the same with the lights on.
Doc had taken me to a really great club, Living Dolls (CH Link), with a very knowledgeable mamasan who hooked me up with a gem of a girl, Da. I couldn't remember the name of the club but I saw a familiar passageway and thought it might be the place, they were advertising "shows" and looked very open. I walked down the corridor and the guy explained it was 300THB for entrance and that included a free drink. "Naw," I just wasn't feeling it.
He quickly tossed the rule book aside and told me to go ahead in. The place was too brightly lit and the girls were still getting ready. The small stage was occupied by three girls on two poles. One had very short blondish hair and possessed the unmistakable "manic pixie-chick" qualities I find so adorable.
With only one other customer in the place, they had the choice of looking at me or him or themselves in the mirrors. Pixie chick looked at me and smiled. I smiled back. She was a really good dancer and, with my attention, put a bit more effort into it. She wore a black bra and a white string bikini bottom. She was typically Thai small, but had nice looking breasts (bra technology?) and a bit of muffin-top sort of stomach, not perfect, but no stretch marks. She gyrated on the stage and kept making eye contact. The other girls paled in comparison.
She had a few tattoos including a large fish on her back. These are usually indicator that she's either a tough or pretty wild, especially in the sack. I hoped she was not a smoker. When she got off the stage she went in the back before coming over. I was pleased she took the initiative. She introduced herself as Dao (star) and waied me when I offered her a drink. So cute. She was simultaneously exuberant and shy as we spoke. I learned she was 21 and had been in Pattaya for three and a half months. When I offered her a drink, she choose a beer rather than a lady-drink. Nice.
She excused herself to dance again, but left her half-finished bottle, indicating her intention to return. She was all smiles on the dance floor and put on a bit of a show for me. No longer so shy, she humped the pole while looking straight at me. Oh my, this one wants to go home with me.
She came back to sit with me and we talked some more. She was hard to figure out, being so bold on stage and giggly/reserved sitting with me. One of the older girls, now on stage, kept signalling me that Dao was good and I should take her. That was encouraging. When she got off the stage, she came over and introduced herself. As the waitress did earlier, she asked me to buy her a drink. I said I might do so later. She hung around a bit, but it was obvious my attention was on Dao.
I asked her if she wanted to go with me. She was tickled at the prospect and agree. There was one little hitch, she had lost her ID card. My hotel would insist on carding her but I thought of a couple of ways to deal with that. Bar fine was 800THB, yikes. Like the over-priced entrance fee, it didn't occur to me to negotiate, I just agreed to the fee.
Dao excused herself to go the toilet and her friend showed up. I told her I'd give her a tip if she would tell me about Dao. She wanted the tip up front so I gave her 100THB. I wanted to know how experienced she was and how how much she might want for long time. "That up to you and her." Yeah, thanks for that really helpful advice. I pressed her and she said two or three thousand for short time. Hmmm.
Doa returned wearing a very revealing short dress over her bra and bikini bottom. That was perfect for clubbing, but not the most discrete attire for sneaking into my hotel. No, she didn't have jeans, that was what she came to work wearing. Her friend thought I could buy her something to wear. A 300THB beach dress would be more suitable, surely. I'd figure that out later.
We stayed to watch a bit of the "show" I avoided paying for. The first girl came out and show how she could write English on a piece of paper by holding a marker in her pussy. The second popped an egg in and out of her pussy and dropped it into a glass to show us it was raw. The third act was two girls blowing whistles and horns, a musical performance that will never be seen on any American variety show. Next, a girl showed how she could load up a few ping-pong balls and almost drop them into a cup. The next act revealed where this girl kept her sewing supplies. I didn't like any of these acts or the women performing them, but Dao liked to see it for some reason.
We left and I asked her if she wanted to eat. I was not in a rush to get to the hotel as Walking Street was just getting started. She said she had eaten before she went on stage, so we walked down the street and paused to watch a few of the street performers. She was all giggles and smiles as she held my hand.
She told me she used to work at the Airport Club (CH Link), where the girls dress like stewardesses. "You want to say hello to your friends?" Clubs can be a whole lot more interesting when you go with a date. She agreed.
When we got to Airport, she led me upstairs. Oh, she must have meant the bar above Airport, not Airport. This was confirmed when she was greeted by the people at the door. More girls greeted her as we went inside. Dao was well remembered!
A waitress lead us to a bench seat between two groups of guys and we had to squeeze in; not my choice but I went with it. It turned out that we were directly across from a sort of pool where one of her friends was soaping herself up. Guys would help apply soap and give her a tip.
Dao asked for Sambuca. Despite that she no longer worked there, she received a lady-drink voucher. I ended up buying a few more drinks for a few of her friends who came by. I was in a good mood. This place also had a show and it was just starting. I signaled Dao that we should get going.
When we left the place, Dao pulled me to Airport. "Sure," I replied. The girls out front were quite attractive and it looked pretty lively inside. I had no idea!
The place was crowded with men and girls. The fact that so many of the girls knew Dao puzzled me. Had she, if fact, worked here, too? The hostess gave us a seat beside the shower tub where three girls were enjoying the hot water spraying down from the ceiling fixture. Two more were sliding around on a platform beside them. The girls were pretty damn hot.
Her friends all came over to say hello and it was obvious Dao was having a great time. She'd occasionally dance (great dancer) before sitting down with me again. I was tempted to get her to go on stage, but all the places were full. She was also very cool with me caressing and squeezing her friends who came over. In fact, while she was busy chatting with a couple of the girls, she sat her friend Nit in her own place. This girl was super thin with a very hard stomach, which I held as I talked with her. She also wore braces which made her all the more sexy for some reason.
Of course I was buying drinks for the so many of these girls, but this was my first time back in Thailand in nearly four years. Imagine buying a drink for five bucks for a girl back home. Would she let you squeeze her nearly naked ass and run your hands over her stomach and thighs? I was keeping things in perspective, after all.
We left there and Dao led me up a side street. I was trying to figure out where she wanted to go. Another club? I gathered that she was looking for a taxi. I told her we could easily walk to my place. We started back and she asked if we could stop in Angel Witch (CH Link). The place had huge signs advertising shows. The pictures were impressive. Ah, what the hell.
What a good idea! Four masked girls were doing a choreographed dance on the stage. The hostess led us to a spot up in the back (excellent spot for fooling around). The girls on the stage started to pour florescent body paint on themselves. Streaks of glowing colors made their way over their breasts and across their firm stomachs and down their legs. It was actually beautiful.
Dao and I drank beer and watched the shows. She held my hand and squeezed my arm and put her head on my shoulder; total girlfriend experience. The music was excellent and the performances well planned. This was the classiest thing I'd seen anywhere in South East Asia. I had Dao in my lap, pressing against the little wombat and we were making out between acts. I delighted in nibbling on her neck.
When the shows came to an end, the regular girls took to the stage for the gentlemen to select. We made our way out and back down the alley. Dao was stopped by an older woman, another friend, and they chatted for a few minutes. Dao wanted to get some food so we stopped to get some street food. I suggested she eat there (I wasn't hungry) but she wanted to take the food to the room and chose a take-away box. That was a lot of food, let me tell you.
When we got to the end of Walking Street, she wanted to get a taxi. I again explained that the hotel was very close, but she had to check with a moto driver. For some reason, she thought I was staying in North Thailand. We walked on the beach side. I found out she didn't have condoms so I suggested we hit the 7-11.
We crossed the street and she pulled me back toward Walking Street saying something about noodles. Noodles? I thought she wanted noodles from a street vendor there, but instead went into a place that served ice-cream. "Why not eat the food you have first?" I asked. She said she wanted to give it to her friend. Friend? Her room-mate. I declined asking her why her room-mate couldn't get her own fucking food while she poured over the menu.
When I told her I didn't want to eat anything, she got up and said "Let's go." Suddenly, she wanted to know the time. It was 11:30. "Now work time over. I have to go back to bar." What? I'm getting a bit put off at this point, so I agree to take her back to the bar and figure out what the hell is going on. No, she doesn't want me to go back to the bar with her. I ask her if she's supposed to meet someone and she denies it. "OK, go to hotel." I suggest we take the food to her room-mate first and she gets all flustered.
"What the hell is going on, Dao? Talk to me." She says we go to my hotel short time. "Look, if you don't want to be with me, just tell me. I don't care, but I don't want to be with you if you don't want to be with me. I'll go back to Airport and take Nit." Oh, that got a reaction from her, all right. Her face crunched up and she shook her head. "So, what's going on?" She insisted we go to the hotel and walked off. I waited until she turned to see me still standing there and she came back. "I want to know," I told her, "or we could just say good-bye right here." She said OK, and waved good-bye and I turned to head back to Walking Street.
What the hell was that all about. Should I go back to the club and demand my 800THB. I stopped at Airport and the girls asked me what happened to Dao. What the hell did happen to Dao? "She acted very strange and wanted to go home."They were concerned but understanding. Had she done this sort of thing before?
I had girls on both sides of me, vying for attention. A third joined in and I had my hands full. I ended up buying drinks, of course.
One girl, wearing only a thong and looking very cold came up to me and I hugged her. She was on her way into the shower pool so I took the liberty of giving her a physical inspection with my hands. I liked what I felt. Since she was about to get wet, I pulled down her thong and she was shocked when I put it in my breast pocket, promising to return it to her later.
Mamasan came by and I asked her where Nit was. "Oh, OK, I get for you. She good girl. You like." Well, yeah, I kinda established that earlier. One of the girls I bought a drink for earlier was on the stage, smiling at me. Another girl was in my arms, getting a butt firmness test, while I scanned for Nit. Shower girl was smiling at me, too.
Nit was on a guy's lab in the back. Damn. If he didn't bar fine her, I'd take her. Mamasan came back and asked for a drink. Ah, what the hell. She wasn't too much older than most of the girls and wasn't bad looking (better looking than the "sex show" girls earlier). I gave her a squeeze. She squealed but didn't put up much of a protest. "Bar fine for mamasan 8000THB!" she said and I laughed.
The girl from the stage was back in my arms and Nit was walking by. I signaled her but she was in a hurry about something and kept going after giving me a smile. Huh. Stage girl wandered off and shower girl was just getting out of the tub. I wrapper her up in a towel and hugged her. Another dancing girl came along and shower girl left.
Stage girl came back and told me her name was Nat. Mamasan thought I was asking for Nat, not Nit. Damn. Eventually, I was left with a few choices. I wanted Nit but it looked like the handsome lad in the back had landed her. I had two dancing girls in my arms, but Nat was there first and was more than willing to go with me. Shower girl was cute, with a nice body, but didn't have as much interest.
Dancing girl 2 was disappointed that I didn't go with her. I told her I was here all week and could go with her tomorrow. She was still fake upset, though. I decided to go with Nat. While she was getting ready, I continued to flirt with dancing girl 2 and shower girl. Great fun.
Nat looked nice. She took my hand and we walked back down Walking Street and made our way to my hotel. She was very pleasant company, though not as girlfriendy as Dao had been earlier. Nat had been in Pattaya for a year and she was making the most of it. I put her at about 25. She mentioned something about Dao being so young. 21 wasn't not that young. Jeezus, Dao was under age? That would explain the missing ID card and the reluctance to go to my hotel. It would also explain the shy exuberance and clumsy kisses. Damn. I guess I'll chalk up another one to experience.
In my room, I undressed Nat. Her body was unmarked. As we cleaned up, she asked me the usual questions and I laughed when she asked "You like ladyboy?" I assure her I like my girls all girl. "Dao ladyboy." I misheard that and asked her to repeat. "Dao, she ladyboy."
Remember the scene when Luke learns about his real father? Yeah, it was something like that.
With a naked, all girl girl with me in my room, I quickly overcame my initial shock and got down to business. Nat was not particularly skilled, but we had a good time. We had another good time int he morning, too. I was surprised to learn she had a daughter. Even more surprised to learn that the daughter was 14. My 25yr old was actually 33. Damn, Thai genes are amazing.
Well, that was quite the first night in Pattaya.
I can hardly wait for night two.

Great story. It's now obvious why she had "lost" her(his) ID card !
Dodging stealthy lady boys - all part of the charm of Thailand.

I'm a bit confused at this line. 3 guys shared a 150 baht bus fare?? That would be a new way to travel. Did you share a taxi?

Glad you avoided the ladyboy in the hotel issue and ended up with a real woman. One thing that worries me is that ladyboys are NOT supposed to be working in the walking street gogo's. Did you ever find out if he/she was actually working as a dancer in Airport?
By Wombat88 on Monday, January 07, 2013 - 12:13 am: Edit |
Oh, yeah, the taxi to Pattaya was 1500 and split that with two other guys. Five hundred to be dropped at the door of my hotel? Worth it.
I never followed up on Dao. I had intended to go back the next night and have a talk with the mamasan at Hooty's (the club) (CH Link). After the shoe had dropped, I didn't bother to think of it any more. The thing is, up until we left Walking Street, I enjoyed her company. I still managed to get laid, so this is just another story in the big adventure book. It could have ended much, much worse.
You know, I used to think I had some expertise on picking out ladyboys, but Dao didn't have any of the characteristics. She was pixie-cute, not mega-hot. She did not have broad shoulders or large hands and there was certainly no Adam's apple (though that can be removed). Once bitten, twice shy—–I now find myself asking potential bar fines if they're ladyboys and then suffering their wrath (until I explain). Of course, there's always the possibility that Dao was not a ladyboy, as I only have second-hand knowledge about her. At least that's what I keep telling myself.
Last night's date certainly kept my focus.

Very nice looking girl, thats the body type that I love to love ;-), she looks like a fun girl.
What hotel are you staying at? That balcony looks a little like the Marriott when I stayed there.

That is indeed the Marriott. I'm their bitch for points.
Por was indeed fun, but had no idea what to do in bed. She turned 26 the day before I met her. She admitted that she was still hung up on her English boyfriend. Apparently the guy was married to another Thai girl the same as as he. That lucky bastard cad, is fuckin' sixty years old.

She reminds me of an actress, but I can't remember who:

Nice work, Wombat. I've had to play "dodge the LB" in Pattaya as well. As they say, some of the prettiest girls in Thailand are boys
Have fun. I'm heading there in about 2 weeks.
