Someone asked me the other day how I found immigration/customs in my travels. I can honestly say I have NEVER had my baggage searched either coming or going during any hobbying trip. I think my bags were searched once when returning from a family European vacation in the late 70s. I was probably about 13 years old.
Since then - smooth sailing. Of course, now I just jinxed myself - I'll probably be strip=searched in May.
