Sorry if you feel offended. Guess my feeling about the subject is just as strong aided by too much eggnog! I think warning Billy is certainly a good idea. Whether in the US or MX, since the beginning I've always play dummy to the hilt and hope that all mongers out there can resist the temptation to score cheap points by impressing the girls with their net knowledge. In the long run, the harms far outweigh the short-term gain. As for chica's reviews, I don't see why any chica should be entitled to some sort of "immunity". What she's entitled to is a fair and accurate view without personal insults or degradation. The whole idea of the Net is the free flowing and exchange of infos and opinions, you don't believe in such? you believe in playing favorite? If my post wasn't clear, I was only HOPING (and praying) that she turns out to be another "sure thing". Something newbies and infrequent flyers can always use more of. If she indeed is an old timer and has an extensive and storied review history, she sure managed to fly under my radar for a long time. Anyway she herself is beside the point of my post, my post was all about encouraging and "glorifying" guys who contribute. Sorry if I just have this thing about people who benefited from the Net when they started as newbies and now do not want to give back to the "community". Whether that includes you or not, I'll let you decide for yourself. I'm not sure I understand your last paragraph though. The first statement is absolutely correct but is "telling newbies about a chica that's been around for years..." like Billy has done in his post WRONG in any sense in your opinion? As for the second statement, if Billy's was a good deed I don't see where's the punishment and by whom, certainly not from me because I applauded him.
