You used to see these all the time going back to the 50's that I know of ... mostly with the military personnel showing each other who was the toughest or dumbest. Three things Tijuana was known for back then was fireworks ~ Tijuana Bibles ~ an of coarse the whore houses. As you enter Tijuana look to ur right and up on the hill you'll see an old mission .. this was one of busiest whore houses in town with 20 ~ 50 taxis there at all times.
