After many, many years of avoiding the pedestrian bridge, I finally walked from the border to the Zona over the bridge. Although I had read the horror stories of gringos being attacked on the bridge, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the bridge was perfectly safe. The bridge was quite crowded, with lots of couples and children walking across. I guess someone could be attacked on the bridge, but it would be like being attacked on Avenida Revolucion (which is possible, but extremely unlilely). |
