Well, some things have changed at CC in the past few months, since my last visit. Here are some random thoughts and observations from my time there last week: - They did indeed fire all the women waitresses. That kinda pisses me off, and I got no really good explanation of why they did. Chalk it up to the club owners and management can pretty much do whatever they want to do. - The club now serves plain bottled water. Half a liter for $2. It always bothered me that agua mineral was $3, and I don't really like it all that much. One waiter told me they sell three times as much water as they did agua mineral, and that agua mineral sales are way down. - By all accounts the club has been really slow the past couple of months. All the gals are complaining that business has been slow, and the staff confirmed that the club has been more empty than usual. Thursday night a couple of people commented that it was the busiest Thursday they had seen in some time. - I noticed at least three gals at CC who look to be at least partly Asian. Two looked really hot. There are a few really great looking gals there (as usual). - The expansion is going very s-l-o-w-l-y. They have done some work on the front of the building, but they seem to still have a long way to go. It just amazes me the way businesses in Mexico operate. - Friday night I had a couple of unusual things happen with the waiters. First, look out for the old, kinda short guy - he tried to short change me at one point, but I am not sure if it was on purpose. Then later he tried the old "hide 4 quarters under the bills" trick when giving me my change. That is the first time that has ever happened to me at CC. If it hadn't been for the quarters incident, I wouldn't have thought twice about the first "mistake". The other strange thing (and actually this happened twice, once to me and once to a friend I was sitting with) the waiter ASKED the chica if it was a one or a two ficha drink before saying how much the drink was! And this on a Friday night! (CC ladies drinks are either $4 or $8, depending if it is a 1 or 2 ficha drink.) - And a gal I talked with Friday night, when I asked her how much to go upstairs, replied "Whatever you think is fair". - Oh ya, and Erip, I have your umbrella! |
