It is located in Barrio Amon -an upscale neigborhood in San Jose- so you can safely walk by during the day.

I echo everything that my good buddy Ace said. I am making my 4th trip there today. Outstanding place, great chicas, great owner. I put this above New Fantasy, Artes, Krysis and every other place. IMHO the chicas there were better than the chicas at Idem, however since ZB is a spa and Idem a bar, it is an apples and oranges comparison.
I always get the half hour session.....yesterday I got the half hour session with 2 chicas for the cost of an hour with one chica.

Overall, the girls at the MP are mostly 3-5 scale and the del rey has maybe about 10 good girls, all from columbia. If you can, Save your chips for Brazil.

If find the ZB girls a cut above NF. I always go to both everytime before deciding on a chica. I find both better than 5's.

In a word, underwhelming. The hosts were very nice: Explained US$47 without a tica card; $40 with. About 5 girls ranging from 2-5, maybe one with a ton of silicone would make a 7. I opted to check out New Fantasy ... no reason to settle in this Disney World of hotties.

I would disagree with the above post. I found the selection at Zona Blue over Labor Day good to very good. I did two ladies from there. One was attractive, the other was super hot. I had an excellent time during both sessions. In fact, they were the best of the trip.

I would say that San Jose, in general, was most underwhelming, while Zona Blue was an exception to the norm I experienced there in terms of hotness and session quality. I personally recommend Zona Blue.

This place is clearly the best of it's kind in SJO. A few hotties mixed in with a few uglies... Great service and it even has a cigar lounge... Nice...

just came back from 9 days in sjo. Zona BLUE girls are def. the most fun by the bar. and its a cool place to chill out in between dumping loads. the only thing in my opinion , why don't they fix up the shitty rooms, peeling cement floors. dirty single bed , with always soild sheets. if fixed up it would be no.1. but the rooms are showing there age, still some hot girls there with a good attitude. so i'll always go just for that.

by the way $50, but if you have the costaricatica card , $10 discount which ain't bad

This place has gone downhill over the last several months. It's the most expensive even with the CRT card, and all the hot girls have moved on. Not really worth it in my book.

I believe this place has been remodled and now is called Old Havana. Nice remodel but the girls quoted 65 and were feas.

Actually, I think it is called "Little Havana". I have reservations there next week for the hotel. I will report back after my trip.

For this type of service I like New Fantasy.

The last few times I've walked in this place, it's been stocked to the gils with UGLY women. This place used to be the best. But I assure you, whatever they're doing over there these days is having a negative affect on the quality of women they have...

This is a first rate place to stay in San Jose. Service is good and the girls are friendly!

Zona Blue is now Hotel Little Havana. It is a great as ever. Girls are great and service is great. Also a great place to stay as they have suites and regular rooms.

I suppose if the girls being friendly is more important that the girls being pretty. Then I'd say the place is a win.

The average room rate in Barrio Amon is $40-$50 per night. Rooms at Little Havana/Zona Blue are $200 per night. I guess getting a discount with the ugly girls downstairs offsets the $150 a night sodomy perpetrated on you...

Hotel Little Havana is mentioned in 2008/12 Blazers - Amateur Hour in Costa Rica

I paid a visit to Hotel Little Havana on Wednesday. I was last here a couple of years ago. After getting buzzed into the gate, you'll walk past security and the reception desk down a path to the bar in the back. You can't see the bar from the entrance, so it might be a little confusing the first time there. You'll round a corner and go up some stairs to the small bar area.

The selection was so-so. One of the women was very fit with chiseled abs but her face didn't register much of an impression. She had little to no makeup on and her nothing was done with her hair. She looked like she actually could have just come from the gym. Another woman was a good seductress, but her face and body were barely average. A third was pretty and thin, but didn't make enough of an impression for me to pull the trigger. There were 5 or 6 others, but there weren't up to my standards.

Shortly before I left, the last two I described and another started dancing on the bar. It piqued my interest in the thin one a little more, but not sufficiently.

I noticed they have food you can order at the bar now. They might have had it before, I do not recall. Prices seemed reasonable.

I think I might stop here again before I leave San Jose. I forgot to get updates on hours and prices, so I'll try to get those.

I paid a few more visits to HLH before leaving San Jose. The first was the following Saturday around 8pm during which time I spotted an attractive blond who would become a target for the rest of my trip. Sadly, the other times I saw her she was snatched immediately as she became available. The thin woman was a backup, but I never got a good feeling about her.

I ordered some food that night. They had some Chinese dumplings for 2500 colones. They were very good but a very small portion. Someone else ordered the spaghetti and another an italian sandwhich which both looked tasty and more filling. Those plates were in the 3500-4500 colones range.

I like the setting and food options here, but I don't think they have a large enough selection of women. There were always several men staying there that were lounging about, and they were very quick to occupy the women, even the less attractive ones. I felt like I would have had to spend an inordinate amount of time there, or just gotten very lucky, to have gotten a chance with the blond.

I verified the hours as Mon-Sun, 9am-10pm.
