Time for Tequila Rock. Flagged down a taxi. Drove 1 block turned left, 1 block another left, drove 3 blocks turned right went half a block and stopped. About 2 ½ blocks from where I was standing. Confused, he moved up a little and pointed. thru a set of doors I could see a neon sign Tequila Rock. Seems there's 2 or I read something wrong. Inside I go. Tequila rock is a disco. If you stand underneath the Coca Cola sign at Pizza Alley, look towards the park and walk straight across the park, down about a half a block. You can't see anything from the street so look thru the doors. Can't remember for sure either Calle Shell or Ernesto Diez Canseco. 10 Pm there were a few people there. They started rolling in. By midnight the place was filling up. Dance floor, 2 bars, nice place. Can't remember the bartenders name but does a nice Tom Cruise "Cocktail" juggle with the whiskey bottles. The majority of the girls will stand along the railing.



Just like the photo shows. If you smoke take extras, many girls use this to get your attention. It's rather low pressure and very few girls will approach you. If they do and your not interested be careful how nice you are. Buy them a drink and it then becomes a game of seduction. Will do what they can to convince you there the gal for you. 30 to 35 girls, all young, attractive and nice. The music was loud, and great. Latin and American music. Hung out for awhile and it seems as if that stare still meant something. Means their interested in you and your best bet as the ones to approach. Did chat with 1 gal, friendly enough, polite but was obvious she was holding out for someone or something else. Imagine that, being shot down by a prostitute. How's you ego? But like I said it seems to be important to these girls they like you and won't go with just anyone. Then in all reality the place does have some non-pros and she's not interested in an old man.

TEQUILA ROCK, a discotheque in Miraflores with some free-lancing girls. Entrance fee including a vodka or rum drink, 20 soles. Beer costed 7 soles. Same as two years earlier. Entrance cannot be seen from the street, unless you stand directly in front and look inside a building corridor. Even though I knew where it was, I almost passed it when a club huckster in front yelled at me and pointed inside. I guessed I was too busy watching a few guys hanging in front of an open-wall restaurant a few doors away, a couple of senoras selling cigarettes and candy, and a couple of young boys hustling coins. Paid my money to the senorita inside an enclosed glass booth and received a ticket. A few feet away was a guard standing at the top of a stairwell leading downstairs. He checked my ticket and then patted me down.

At the bottom of the stairwell, a coat check room was on the right and a 20-foot bar was on the left. Ten feet to the front was a rectangular sunken dance floor, about 40-feet long from left to right, and 15-feet wide lined with mirrors on the far wall. On the right side was about 20 tables and chairs, a small bar against the right wall bracketed by entrances to the two rest rooms. On the far left side on the far side of the long bar was more tables and chairs. Ordered my prepaid drink, which I sipped standing on the left side of the dance floor watching the dancing and the crowd of people seated, standing around, and moving around.

Place was crowded, maybe 100-150 persons. Over half were girls, ages of teens to 30s, their dress ranged from blue jeans to disco dresses, not expensive and not poor cheap. Men were mostly the same age range, but a few including self were older. More surprising, men included not only Latinos but also a few Asians and a couple of blacks. The club had an international flavor that it did not have before. The crowd was not wild, but was relatively subdue almost business-like. The girls were not overly friendly. One tiny incident on the dance floor was two young Asian guys walked onto the dance floor and began to free-style dance to the pop-rock music, which was odd because nearly everyone else on the dance floor was paired off male-female, except for a couple of females. A minute later, a bouncer went over to the two guys and walked them off the dance floor. A straight place.

Judging the quality of the girls there, I had to admit there was no 8 or higher there. It could have been the hour, after 2 am. A special of the night was a show by two young chicas and one chico, who did a free style Brazilian samba. Actually, they danced a number, took a break to change costumes, and danced a second number. It was fun and something a little different that inserted a bit of bright lights and gaiety into an otherwise pounding music milieu. During the break, the announcer said something about a beer for a dollar, but I think it had to do with being a volunteer from the audience to participate in the second show dance.

My style is to wait for girls to approach me or give me the eye. Hanging out on the left side of the dance floor, no chica approached me. There was no empty bar stool and not even a place to stand against the bar. Everyone else who stood was standing against the guard rail lining the dance floor. I walked around looking for a likely chica and none would lock eyes with me. Finally, I found a good place to stand -- against the wall next to the door to the DJ booth, adjacent to the coat check room and facing the right end of the dance floor.

Leaned my back against the wall and sucked on a long-neck bottle of beer. Relaxed and let my mind merged with the primal beat of the music. Away from the strictures of USA social conventions. A stranger in a foreign land. No one-eyed television tube to while away my usual weekend night. Although alone, I was relaxed and floating. Then I heard a familiar phrase whispered in my ears. Porque solito? Why are you alone? I looked and it was a smiling chica. A short conversation ensued, that roused my rusty Spanish memory cells. She was not my type, slightly heavy, stocky, early 30s, a heavy made-up sturdy face. I guess a 7 on my scale. Her friendliness made her more attractive than her physical attributes. If I was really horny, she would do. I figured that I had better end the conversation or else I would never be able to get rid her. I said, leave me now, when I am ready, I will let you know. She smiled, patted/rubbed my stomach, and left with a little wave of her hand.

I considered this little encounter. My conclusion was that location matters. I was in a good spot and not standing in bright lights to show my facial lumps and bumps. Chicas walking around and wanting to see who was seated in this area to the right of the dance floor or chicas who needed to go to the rest room would have to pass this spot. As I stood there away from the crowd and obviously alone, another chica stopped and made me an offer, and then a third chica. None were my type and were not at least an 8. They were do-able. They were not outright ugly. I had three opportunities without even trying. If I started approaching girls, there might be even more opportunities. As I walked the four blocks back to my hotel, I thought that the guys who poo-poo'd Lima could be right.

Pick-up bar, cheap drinks, plenty of girls...some pros, many just looking for a different adventure. Easy negotiation , no middle-man fees (other than the cheap cover), guaranteed to find some 7 & 8's looking for a good time.

The Tequila Rock is a nice Disco in Miraflores / Lima. The chicks their welcome you right when you get in. This is a mixture of a Disco and a NightClub, as you can either freely dance or get some contacts on the spot.

There are still many chicas to choose from here. The hotter ones will ask for more cash (start at $100 an hour), but you can talk them down (say $50-60). The very cute ones can be had for $40 an hour. Beware of those hotter ones who say they will stay all night - it is doubtful you will get more than one round. Do not expect all the girls to approach you as only some are so bold. I am of way average looks and had no problem breaking the ice with even the really hot ones.

Much better rates can be found on Pizza Alley (start at 100 soles an hour = $28, but I also found 150 soles = $43 for an all night session with a very cute and responsive 25 y.o. gal). Lots of duos work Pizza Alley, but of the 2 pair I tried (yes I am a sucker) neither were a porn-star experience (they traded off attention, but had minimal contact simultaneously and almost none with the other).

I was in Lima, Peru on a Pleasure trip from February 11, 2004 thru February29, 2004. While in Lima, I frequented Tequila Rock quite a bit. The place is incredible, there must of been at least 80 beautiful women available.

The athmosphere in the club is friendly, relaxed, and trustworthy. The women are beautiful, friendly and none over 24 yrs old. These women usually approach the client men and inquire if you are looking for company.

There are two ways to handle the situation....you can leave the club with one of these women fairly quick, go do your business and be back at the club in no time at all.....the downside is that the woman you just finished off....will most likely be off and running looking for another client and leave you to your lonesome self once again.

The second and most effective method is to strike up a conversation with one of these women and try to win over their confidence by coming accross as sincere and caring. If this is handled properly, you will have her at your disposal for the entire evening....she will dance, drink and both of you will have a grand old time with each other. This makes it more interesting, more fun, more intimate and more friendly encounter with the object of your desires for the evening. !!


The women will start their prices at $100.00 dollars for the evening....however, with a little charm and sincerity.......I usually was able to work the price down to $40.00 for the entire evening.....Not bad at all. !!

I highly recommend Tequila Rock. If you are looking for some of the most desirable women in Peru. You have got to check Tequila Rock Nightclub near Larcos, Ave.

OK, I was in my element now. It was about midnight. I bypassed the cover charge by using the coupon in a tourist magazine I picked up somewhere, and headed down the steps. To your immediate left is a bar. To the far left, tables and booths. In front of you, a dance floor. And to the right, more tables and another bar. I enter and make a left to the end of the bar. Oh yeah, and about 50 chicas, all attractive and ranging from about 20-30 years old, and maybe 25 guys, and a few tourist couples.

The feel was reminiscent of the Blue Marlin in San Jose. This I could deal with. Now, if stares were daggers, I would be a bloody mess. I smile and keep moving, settling down at an unoccupied spot of the bar, just enjoying the view. If these girls weren't insane on price, it would be like shooting fish in a barrel.

After 5 minutes, I am approached by a pretty, young Oriental-looking girl. We have the standard conversation (on vacation, alone, American, no wife, etc.). I buy her a drink, the thigh rubbing starts... too easy, I think. Stay away from the sharks, I remember. But she's pretty, and kisses good. I let her bring up the topic of leaving. My standard line is that I'm looking for a girlfriend for the entire night (it sounds better in Spanish, trust me). This usually weeds out the girls in a rush. She answers that she's looking for the same thing and kisses me again. What could I do? We finish our drinks and leave.

Walking to the hotel, she brings up the ugly issue of money, quoting me $100 for all night. I act outraged, and she immediately drops down to $80. There was probably a better deal to be made, but I wasn't haggling over another $10 or so. I agree, telling her that there is a propina in the cards for her if I have a good time.

We get back to the room, shoot a few (clothed) photos, and get down to business. I had an excellent time and it appeared that she did, too. Everything was covered, but that's not a deal breaker for me. We fall asleep, her at least $80 richer and me knowing that this trip can work out as I had hoped.

We wake up at 7:30, have a second go-round. I give her a $20 tip, take her phone number, and she goes on her way. All in all, a fine Day 1.

I made it to the Tequila Rock last week on Friday night. It was really hot. Thanks for all the posts and info!. At 1 AM there were no less than 50 girls there from age 18 to 35. There were many 7's and 8's and better. The average girl was a 7. The place was heavenly.

An experienced Canadian told me the going price was $60 USD but I paid $80 for a '9' 24 y.o. without negotiation because I was feeling so good. One '10' asked for $100 USD, but she spoke zero English and I left her after one $7 drink and a few touches on her rock hard non-silicone body. I believe the $60 price would easily work with most there, after a few fun drinks and conversation.

A few worthy notes: 1) Even with all the direction the place was hard to find. It is one block behind the street that borders the park, across from the Pizza Alley street.

2) The coupons on the Tequila Rock website were honored for free entry and a free beer without a second look. This saved about $10 or more USD.

I have been to many Asian bars and in comparison this place, although more expensive, was unbelievable in the high percentage of beautiful woman - most with beautiful curvy figures and nice tits. Impressively, all the girls were 'dolled-up' to the hilt. No jeans here. I, however, was in jeans, old and overweight by there standards and it seemed to make absolutley no difference. However, only 1 of 3 seemed to speak English. It seemed like every girl in the place was working and none were shy about smiling and making it clear that they were approachable. Several approached me on their own.

I wish this place was in Denver !

I can't quite describe how to get there, but most of the previous posts give a fairly good explanantion, and most taxi drivers know exactly where it is.
This club is excellent. It was 30 sols to get in, with a whiskey (more than a double) thrown in. The prices are normal beer and spirit prices. We arrived at around 11:30 am last night, and there were not many normal clients in there, but it was full of working girls, probably around 35 - 40. They were mostly in their low 20's, but some were in their 30's and 40's. That's not a bad thing, most of them were 6 - 8, but some 9's and 10's. My friend and his girlfriend from El Salvador got bored, and left me on my own from about 12:30am. Their loss, as the place really started to liven up about 30 mins later. A lot more girls came in, and so did a few more couples and single guys. It went on like that all night, until the place was packed. The music was good, they played lots of rock from the 80's and 90's, plus salsa and merengue. People were dancing nearly all the time. There was a wet T-Shirt comp at some point, and that was a nice break in the evening.
I sat at the back of the room, just watching for about 30 mins, and then decided to try to go after a girl with a 9 body 7/8 face girl with long dark hair and blue (not contacts) eyes. She was happy to sit with me and drank water for the next hour or so. Very low maintenance. Eventually, I asked the price, $100 for 2 hours. I am getting resigned to this now in this country, so I did not bother arguing, we just left.
Got to the hotel at around 3am, and she was great. Not the best mover, but very passionate. By the time we finished, I was happy to let her go, but she seemed content, and fell asleep. The next thing I know, it was 7am, and she was still there. Off we went again, and she left at around 8:30. All in all , a very good night, and worth the money for the time, and a warm body next to mine for most of the night. The club shuts at 9am, so I was surprised she did not go back, but she said she only worked there 2 nights a week, and generally only goes off with 1 guy a night. She left her number and email address.
I would recommend this club over al the others, such as Suites de Barranco etc., simply because it seems to be a more natural environment to meet the girls. You can sit, talk, dance, and then leave as if you are a normal couple, and that perception makes it a better place, for me at least. Also, you are not ripped off with the drink prices and bar fines.

Pro's
Lots of good looking girls, Normal bar prices, No bar fine, Good music, and dancing.

Cons
Price still a bit high, but, Gringo face, Gringo prices :-)

Calaman, since you are in Lima for a month, I would suggest at least one trip to Scarlet in Los Olivos. The taxi ride is a long and more expensive one, but the club prices are great and they have nice shows.

If you want to see a more traditional locals' brothel, check out Las Cucardas in Lima. The facilities are NOT nice, don't expect anything like the clubs you have been visiting, but the prices are excellent and some of the ladies suprisingly attractive for what they charge.

If you are very adventurous, you might check El Salvage/Trocadero. Be sure to read the corresponing topic first.

I think we will check out Scarlet on Saturday this week. If we do I will post a report and let you know how we got on.
Cucaradas sounds good also, I am sure I must have been in worst places in my relatively short (45 years) life.

Well, we didn't get to Scarlet this weekend, but we did spend a lot of time in Tequila. I know most of you out there will probably still like to visit the clubs, but this place is really the best for me.
I like to go to a club where the music is good, and the drinks are normal price, and the chicas are mainly good looking. However, I don't have the time or the patience to look for a local non-hooker, I want to have my cake and eat it when I want to. Tequila is perfect for this. There are many good looking girls here, most if not all are hookers, but the prices can be negotiated from $60 upwards.
My personal preference is for tall thin spinners. I picked up a girl from Iquitos the first night, and negotiated $80 for the whole night, and up to midday on Sunday, she was great. I can write all the descriptions here, but you are better visiting for yourself, and enjoying the club and the girls. Sunday, I picked up another tall dark haired girl, a spinner also, and took her back for $90 for 3 hours, most enjoyable also. On a side note, I have also spent the whole weekend recently with an escort from placeres del peru, who charged me $100 for almost 1.5 days, and I have to say this was probably the best value, and she was attentive, and dare I say, loving, in a nice hooker fashion. We went bowling, to the cinema, dinner, disco, and then back to the hotel, where she stayed until 3 in the afternoon. I am not sure that I have much interest in the big clubs anymore, expensive and limited choice are the big drawbacks, when compared to what is available in Tequila or from the 'delivery' sites.

Tequlia Rock is open at 7pm, 365 days/year. You should be able to find complimentary entrance passes near the door or at some Lima Hotels, but security will not always honor them, especially if they recognize you. It seems completely up to the guard.

You'll be searched before being allowed to enter. They won't take your camera, but they'll tell you that no photos are allowed inside.

I finally had the opportunity to go to Tequila rock and liked this place a lot. you could easily get a tourist complementary pass from one of those tourist magazines and won't have to pay the entrance fee and will get a complementary drink free. not bad a deal!!!. music is great and very loud, lots of girls of all shapes and forms, most are good looking and nice dress. now, not all of them speak english and some working knowledge of spanish is recommended. it seems these girls want around $80 st, and probably $100 lt. the first night i went i didn't get any girl, guess, i was a little tired for going to Las cucardas too often. anyways, its a highly recommended place to visit and have fun. try telling the girls you want one for all night, this tend to scare away the short timer ones right away.///

I have been here 3 times. First time was closed; although the coupon I had stated that they are 365/24/7 and open @ 7pm. Next two times the tallent ranged from 5- 7.5 or so. I never really saw any 8's or higher. The fat chicks sat by me and I bought them fichas (yeah I know, but they were polite and it's cheep)- I might check the place out one more time. It is relaxing, has about a 1*1 ration on girls/guys but the other clubs BLOW them out of the water with tallent. IMO

Fichas? Were their drinks more expensive than yours?

Tequila Rock as a freelancer disco may be more affected by the holidays than the high-end clubs. The high-end clubs may be requiring some of the ladies to work in order to continue working at the club. TR freelancers have no ties to the establishment and can take as much time off as they want for the holidays. At least the cover and drinks are inexpensive to check it out as a backup plan.

Ficha drinks at TR -- I don't think so. I am *guessing* that Metal just refers to all chica drinks as Fichas, due to his extensive TJ experience.

Just last month, I paid the same for the girls' drinks as I paid for another guy's drink at my table.

No complaints at all with the ladies drink prices here. There was this chic who served shots of tequilla and roamed the place - of course I bought one for the chica I was with, in addition to her beer. I will stipulate the cost was the same for her as it was for I - again, this place was less than $30 for everything including 3 drinks for me, entrance fee and her 3 drinks or so.... Now Emanuel was way more $$ but much better looking chicas...

TR is my favorite spot in Lima, after living here for close to 8 months. I have had quite a variety of women from there. I usually decide before I go in what my quest will be that night, face, tits, ass, skinny, heavy. I like it all, and it is all available at TR. I have been so often that many girls expect me to take them home again. I rarely do, variety is the spice of this mongers life. There is one black girl in there with a great bod and eyes the size of saucers. Tonight she is my quest.
If you go to TR, do not go until midnite. You will have a much bigger selection then, and if you can go at midnite on a week nite, you practically have the place to yourself.

I made it to TR for the 1st time and had a very good time. I would recommend this place. The 1st night was on a Thursday. I got there at about 11:15 pm and the place was very quiet. As is always the case, I tend to get hit on fairly early in these types of bars before I can enjoy my drink and survey the talent pool. This time was no exception. The girl that came by wasn't too bad. Nice ass and big fake tits. She spoke very little English, but we communicated just fine even with my horrible Spanish. The girls ranged from 1's to 8's with everything in between. The 2nd night was Friday and I got there about 11:45 pm and the place was much more crowded than the night before. This time the ugliest chica in the whole place got to me just as I sat down. I used this to my advantage as most ugly girls have very good looking friends. This worked out just fine as I got the ugly one to ask her friend to join me. This girl had a great body, but small tits. This was fine with me. We left after 3 am just as the place was really getting going. I enjoyed the company very much so I made arrangements for her to meet me the next day at my hotel and she showed me around Lima. Definitely one of my better experiences.

Many times. Saturday night we went to a Cuban Sala bar and danced for hours. On Sunday she didn't leave until about 11 am and that was because I had to go catch a flight to Chile. TR is definetly worth a visit.

Well, I've been pretty much having sex on demand for the last week, so I figured that this was a perfect time for me to head over to Tequila Rock.

My 'need' factor was way low, so I could afford to be picky and walk if I didn't find a likely suspect.

I enter and head to my spot -- the bar on the far left, all the way in the corner. This spot has its pluses and minuses -- it is off the main path, so I get hassled less, and I have a good view of 80% of the club, albeit from a bit of a distance. There's one dead viewing spot when I sit there -- the left corner where the booths are. I can't really see who's coming and going in that part, and it is fairly dark, to add to the problem. But it is a trade off that I'm willing to make. I also have the bartender at that bar trained, so I get more ice without asking.

Over by the dance floor, I see long dark hair, a huge rack, and a body that seems to move well. Even from a distance Jhoise sees me staring and smiles. I smile back and raise my glass to her. She comes over, and I am liking what I see: a smoking body, a beautiful face, and a big smile.

We get to talking; I get to drooling. She asks me to dance, and I tell her that I don't dance in Tequila Rock (all of the hookers laugh at the old gringos dancing with the young hookers). She asks where I do dance, and I invite her to a regular disco in Miraflores. She's impressed that I know my way around town, and agrees to leave with me after she finishes the second drink that I bought for her. She tells me that she's not planning on returning to the club, and she's going to need some money if she leaves with me. I tell her that's no problem.

We get to the club. It's hopping. Between another two Johnny Walkers, we dance and make out. I'm having a great time, and have no problem showing her off for the locals. I don't care what these guys think, and she understands that she's bought and paid for, so it's all cool. Until one drunk accosts her and 'asks' her to dance. I step in somewhat, but three bouncers appear out of nowhere, hustle the guy out and apologize to me. Jhoise hardly notices -- she's starting to get plastered.

Finally, back at the hotel, she has another drink (room service), and we're listening to music and dancing. I took a couple of pictures, but they weren't all that flattering when she was loaded.

She passes out, and I carry her to bed. As I'm trying to get her under the cover, she wakes up, makes a miraculous recovery, announces that she has to go to the bathroom. I walk her there and hope for the best. She comes back into the bedroom bare-assed naked, and has her disgusting way with me for a while, until we both fall asleep.

We get around the corner from Tequila Rock, and she takes keys out of her purse and unlocks her car door, gets in the passenger seat, and asks me to drive. I don't drive a stick, so she had to drive. She drops me off in town, kisses me, and tells me to call her Saturday. This is the first hooker in Lima that I've met with a car.

I gave her $120. It was probably more than I could have bargained for, considering that I took her drinking, dancing, and eating, but not by much. She smiled and thanked me and drove away. All in all, a good Tequila Rock visit. And for sure, a good night and day.

Tequila Rock was always hard to find for the newcomer. It’s inside of an office building on a side street, and there was no indication other than the security guard at the building’s entrance. When you’re right in front, there’s all kinds of ways to tell, but you have to be right in front to see them. Well, no more. They’ve finally wised up and added a neon sign to the building’s marquee, facing you as you walk from Pizza Alley. Here it is:

This will come in handy for first timers. I had another buddy with me and we went to TR with a Veteran so I was spared the wandering around, but it would have been a bit of an effort for those who are unaccustomed to navigating in foreign cities.

It was a Hall of Fame event last night at TR. I finally got to meet up with Copperfieldkid and Latinalover. To say the least, it was an evening to remember. I think our group was the pick of the litter and the women were the best Lima has to offer.

Alpha, I was in Lima just before you were and indeed TR Mriaflores was closed. But I went to TR San Isidro most nights and it was packed with many of the people from TR, including my bartender friends. There are also two other locations in town. The San Isidro location is about a 6-8 soles taxi ride away, about 10 minutes. It is located at 3555 Avenida Republica de Panama. It has the same red and green sign to help spot the place. I was told by the head bartender that miraflores location will open in the near future.

there are several other discos in Miraflores, however most are a different venue (non-pros).The closet from Las Americas is 3 blocks away on San Martin. That is the direction towards Larcomar Mall/ocean. The 443 Club (also the address on San Martin) is open Fri/Sat nights only, this is to the right of JoseLarco; if it is still open as it was closed 2 mos again for some reason, on the left 1/2 blk off JoseLarco is Phuketts, a nice club with upper class patrons. If you go to 443(akaCuban Pub) try there mohitoes, excellent.

Gentlemen: I was in Lima when Tequila Rock closed. I made inquiries as to why it was closed and the following replies were from Taxi drivers:
1. There was a gunbattle between the Koreans and Chinese and two Koreans were killed.
2. They are doing renovations
3. They failed to pay their taxes.
No. 3 I rule out because the other Tequila Rocks are open.
No. 1 is questionable because there were no news reports the day after Tequila Rock closed. I am left with what I believe to be the obvious answer. It is closed for renovations. Therefore depending on the extent of their renovations, Tequila Rock will open accordingly.

It was open when I was in Miraflores last month then the next night it was closed. There were 2 policemen posted at the entrance and yellow tape x-ing out the entrance. There were 2 touts handing out flyers on the TR San Isidro location.
So does that sound like renovations to you? No notice of any kind, about closing for renovations on the night before?? Come on... this is a political thing, somebody didn't get greased>

Isawal, I join you in the hope that TR Miraflores opens soon. Yesterday, I spoke with a lady who frequented the place. She said that it was indeed a tax problem that closed the doors.

As Dbonar observed, the other three Tequila Rock locations ARE open. But this is not an indication that the problem is not tax related. Even though Miraflores is often referred to as a district, it is a independent municipality. The "closed" signs are from the Miraflores government. All of the other Tequila Rock locations are in different municipalities scattered throughout the Lima metro area. What is referred commonly as "Lima" is actually the sum of a large number of municipalities. "Lima" is only one of these districts, the oldest. It is the one where the seats of national government are located.

This being the case, it is quite likely that the Tequila Rock in Miraflores ran afoul of the local tax codes. The other TR locations are all in other districts.

Is this the whole story? I do not know. But since LL was there on the last night they were open it is unlikely that there was a shootout there. Even he would have noticed that. He was still down there when I got down there at 2am the next night and the closing of Miraflores location did not seem to slow him down a bit. He was entering his apartment with a smoldering hot woman from the San Isidro TR location.

I visited the San Isidro location several times during the March visit and the place was crawling alive with very hot ladies. It was a most happy hunting ground. It is much smaller than the Miraflores location but it had a wonderful selection of talent.

Isawal, do not fret even if the Miraflores location is closed. Even many of the bartenders from the Miraflores location are working at San Isidro. There are strong drinks and very desirable ladies waiting patiently for your arrival.

The only possible downside to your upcoming visit is that it is quite likely that I will be in town part of the time you are there. If so, there may be a considerable dent in the number of available ladies.

I just got back from Lima this morning and if I was you I would seriously reconsider going there. In a decade of mongering it was my worst experience. I am doing a trip report but don't worry about your hotel being girl friendly rather worry about being ripped off by the girls of TR which I was ....TWICE!

It should be noted though there are plenty of places in Lima other than TR. TR was not one of my favorites although tastes vary.

After my first trip to Lima, my impression is it is not as good as Rio or Bangkok/Pattaya for mongering, but not as bad as Tijuana or Costa Rica. Whether it is better or worse than Buenos Aires is probably a matter of personal taste. I can't say after one trip to Lima which of the two I prefer.

Miraflores is a relaxing place to stay with a danger level much less than Rio and probably less than Buenos Aires. Certain other sections of Lima are more dangerous although I doubt any on our map seriously compete with the danger level of Rio.

In the interest of fairness, it should be mentioned Isawal was ripped off in the sense of not getting services for his money, not in the sense of theft of goods.

Unfortunately Iswal had several bad experiences from the git-go, and that can certainly set the tone for the trip. I think with that in mind nothing seemed to improve, although we had an excellent lunch just before he departed...
Fortunately we all have our favorite destinations and choices.

i had a pretty good experience with a lady named jessica.. she was fun , enjoyable and reasonably priced, 200 soles for about two hours.. I dated her twice, she is about 25, a bit on the thick side, but a great attitude..
I am really ticked off what happened to Isawal, two bad dates in a matter of days.

Hell Yes! I am already booked on a Spanish course when I get home. Next trip I would like to see a bit more of the country, but it is on the cards for early next year. My next trip should be in October to SEA, back to the happy hunting grounds.

My take on Lima, where do I start?
First I want to say how disappointed I was, not to meet all the other guys who left Lima a day or so before I arrived (may 20th). I did get to meet 2 other board members, both super guys though!
Isawal: If you fish in polluted waters, you catch bad fish! TR is a cesspool. That being said, I spent most of my mongering hours there my first 3 trips. I did meet one very special girl there last trip and it continued into a great relationship, very GFE, this trip.

TR is probably about as professional as Lima gets. They will ask for the money up front, covered BJ's, ect ect. This trip I went once, mainly to shoot the shit and have a few laughs with some CH members and a member of the continental flight crew, I flew down with. Other then that, never went near the place. I did session with a TR girl that night. She wanted $100, we settled on $80. Terrible BJ, uncovered but one of the worst. I stopped in TR-Miraflores twice on my recent visit. The first time was on a Sunday night, and the place was virtually dead. They did not charge a cover, and we got exactly what we paid for.

We went again the next night, and wound up making the company of two sisters. I wound up with the younger one (Inez), and my friend got the 25-year-old (the older one spoke some English, which was good, because that was all that my friend spoke).

Neither were over-the-top beauty queens, but they were both your standard, attractive Peruvian girls. I got the feeling that mine (the younger one) was fairly new at this, as her negotiating lines seemed to have been rehearsed earlier that day.

We negotiated separately. My girl asked for the standard $100. I told her that I only paid that if the girl stayed until late the next morning. She agreed. My friend struck a similar deal, but did not get as firm a commitment on time as I did.

Everything went very well (and very safely) in the cama. Inez was a willing sand seemingly enthusiastic partner, both in the initial go-round and again in the morning. We were up and dressed at about 10:00. My friend's date had left way earlier, so the three of us went for breakfast before Inez went her separate way.

All in all, a fairly standard (and good) Tequila Rock experience. I like the atmosphere of the club, and I like having the ability to mingle with the girls and make my selection with only light pressure and reasonable drink costs. As my friend proved, the job can get done without even basic Spanish skills, but my experiences there have improved at the same rate as my language abilities.

One of the girls there that I am friendly with told me that it has not been as crowded since the re-opening. I am sure that it will pick up over time.

RT here. I had a not-so-stellar experience at Tequila Rock this past Friday. Here's what happened...

I showed up at around 1 am (prime time). The bars were all full, but one of the bartenders remembered me and what I drank, so he kicked a girl off of a barstool for me. I apologized to/thanked the girl and we got to talking.

Carmen is a regular-looking girl: not smoking hot and not a beast either. I had been with a really beautiful girl that afternoon, so I was open to the advances of Carmen.

A couple of hours, a few beers and some kanoodling later, Carmen suggested that we leave and go to my apartment. I agreed, in principle.

She then told me that she wanted $100 for a couple of hours. I told her that was out of the question for short time (only thinking that I could pay that for some of the model-quality girls there). We went back and forth as to how 'all the chicas charge $100' (Carmen) and 'No, all the girls want $100 (RT Gooch). That went nowhere.

After getting mad at me, she then started to negotiate. The magic was gone, so I just told her to never mind.

She got very angry, explaining that I should give her, in effect, a kill fee because she 'wasted' all that time with me. Visited Tequila Rock Wednesday night. The talent was very impressive. Unfortunately I had consumed a couple of bottles of wine over dinner and a few rum and cokes after. So arrive with 20/20 beer goggles. Ended up with a stunning mature lady called Alexandra. The beer monkey was kind to me that night (he usually throws up in the trash can and swaps the gorgeous girl I went to bed with, with one of his close relatives). Surprisingly Alexandra was twice as beautiful in the morning. Very sweet lady who I will be seeing later tonight. Back to paying top dollar in Rio in a couple of weeks. Definitely getting a bit tired of Rio. Probably head to Lima more often.

Forgot to mention Alexandra was very happy with $50 so I gave $70. Sorry cat, i know the monger police will get me for that.

I stopped into Tequila last Wednesday night at around 1:30, after a big event in one of the Centro clubs. I was not 100% certain that I would be leaving with anyone, but I was all sexed up from the show, so you never know.

After about a half hour, I was approached by one girl. She wasn't the most beautiful, but she was acceptable, and pleasant to speak with. I do not remember her name, but she is Colombian, and -- amazingly -- had her original rack on her chest.

Anyway, we talked, and she said all the right things, including, "you can pay me when I leave." Now, I never used the exact words "todo la noche," but (I thought) that it was implicit in our conversation. At one point, I even replied to one of her questions with, "you can ask me in the morning." I might have even told her that I don't pay US$100 for just a couple of hours, but I am not entirely clear on that.

So we get back to my apartment, and she's a good date. It started out with us making out in the elevator, and we had above-average sex. When we were done, she even came across with the massage that she promised, having her own oil in her pocketbook.

At around 4:30, we're lightly dozing, and she announces that she's going home. I pointed out that it wasn't part of our agreement, and she denied ever agreeing to anything more than a couple of hours. Until that point, I was looking forward to doing her again in the morning, but when she said, "look -- I fucked you, I sucked you, I even massaged you. I did my job, and now I'm going home," it kinda ruined the mood for me. I told her that she was at best violating the spirit of our agreement, and at worst, a big liar. I told her that my apartment wasn't a prison, and she could go, but if she was leaving, she was leaving NOW. That's what she wanted to do, so I threw her clothes at her, gave her money, and said GET OUT. No, you can't use the bathroom. No, you can't have a chicklet. No, no, no. Just put your clothes on and Get Out.

I thought I was getting the right signals at the club, but the moral is: however much you think you have an understanding, discuss the agreement in detail before leaving. Sure, it ruins the mood a little, but it sure beats throwing clothes at a hooker and tossing her out of your apartment when you'd rather be sleeping.

This isn't to say that Tequila Rock doesn't have its share of pretty and ecellent dates waiting for you at the bottom of the stairs, it just means that I have to do all of the things that I tell other guys to do when they're there.

Is TR a good place to go about 1AM in the morning?

Yes, generally the chicas start arriving after midnight and continue thru about 2am. Occasionally some will show even later.

CFK's right. If you get there at 11:00, you can help the waitresses put out the ashtrays and napkins.

Just be sure to do a thorough pre-interview.
