TJResearcher,

Interesting that someone FINALLY has thought about looking at this arena from an academic point of view. Seeing La Zona from more of a Sociological viewpoint, I've always been fascinated by the interactions and participants in this hobby in TJ.

Given your scholarly endeavor, and the fact that you had to get this research work past review, I'd ask what your initial theory was, as stated in your research hypothesis. If it is like most, your initial theory has a position that your research will either prove, or disprove based on the facts presented in your work. I'm interested in this for two reasons.
1. I'm personally interested in what anthropological viewpoint you've taken in your hypothesis.
2. I believe that whatever bias you may have will be revealed in this statement. (please note that I'm not presuming that you have a direct bias)

I have often sat back in one of La Zona bars and thought how interesting it would be to study this place and it's society. Though you're coming at it from a different discipline, I'm inclined to sign on to assist, but I'd like to see the above points addressed first. You might also win over additional participants if there's a little better understanding of your project.
