thurs nite - fri morning: the bad news:
la zona (& rev too i think) seems to be very serious about the 3am closing edict. all attribute it to "el presidente". everything seemed to be shut down by 3 or earlier (except the sgs). cops at the door of adelitas all nite, carding anyone that looked younger than 40.
none at any of the other bars though (even cc). the really bad news:
hotel coahuila is now apparently charging $34 for "all nite", which seems to be anything over 1 hr. there is a sign up over the desk, so it appears to be "official". i refused, went for shorter time. on a positive note, i got a hickey.
