EC, if you're in a hurry, you have to be careful with the bus terminal near the border. The ABC line there does not take the toll road (the couple of times I took it), but instead takes the "scenic" route through Rosarito Beach, and along the bluffs near the sea, and stops for every compesino who flags down the driver. It's very beautiful but it took 2.5 hours to get to Ensenada from TJ. Also, the departures aren't as frequent. That's why I recommended going to the main bus station, where I believe the departures are every thirty minutes and the buses use the faster toll road. Of course, if time isn't a consideration, it is much easier to walk to the bus station you mentioned and avoid the $10-15 taxi ride to the main station.
