Monday is probably the slowest day you can pick to be in TJ....but that ain't bad. Your selection will be limited, but what you ain't seen, you won't want. If you haven't eaten at El Taurino: "El Taurino - This Tijuana mainstay is mostly a beef house, but also offers fowl and seafood. Full bar, lunch & dinner daily, late dining. I've dined there many a time, typically ordering the house special, a steak, which is called something like "La Cabrera" ( I'm sure someone on the board can remember the name of that cut of steak....another great tip from BOT). It gets the seal of approval from "The San Diegan"...and ought to be tried at least once. It's a multi-course dinner with all the trimmings and even with 2 or 3 beers and a tip ends up costing around 15 bucks. Monday, Monday...I hate that day..unless I was gonna be in AB, drinkin' a few beers, watchin' baseball, and checkin' chicas. KRICO
