....should be avoided at ALL costs! I suspect that the Border Patrol has thought of this plan - and probably seen it done a million times. I know that certain areas prior to the checkpoint are under video surveillance, so I would be careful about where you choose to drop her off. Personally, I would also probably swap cars if I was doing that solo. (Too easy to have an automated system checking to see who just drove thru the checkpoint half an hour before.) Better to have a "clean" point man drive the route first to check it out. Having been involved on the periphery of law enforcements use of technology, I have become paranoid....
