In a previous post, Explorer and KRICO correctly pointed out how many Mexican girls don't like going to the beach, cause they can't swim(and don't want to get darker). Well, many of them also don't like living(or even being) near the ocean because, get this, they are scared of hurricanes. They see the news reports every year showing people getting washed out to sea in the lower latitudes(places like Vera Cruz), and they think that it can happen in Tijuana on a sunny day! You know, I know that most Americans, in general, are pretty fucking stupid too(most couldn't name the Vice President, or point out Chicago on a blank USA map); but really now - hurricanes in Tijuana!? The fact is, West Fargo is right about Mexicans and Mexican prostitutes(remember, I'm generalizing here) - they are some of the most religious, superstitious, and ignorant people you will ever come across. This is the root of one of the three main reasons I keep going back to Mexico... I can live near the ocean for next to nothing(the view alone would cost $500,000 just over the border in San Diego). The other reasons are that the pussy is incredibly beautiful and cheap, and the beer is also incredibly beautiful and cheap. Living in Mexico is a tradeoff. You've got to put up with the shitty roads, corrupt cops and government officials, beggars, thieves, cheap lying whores, bad radio speakers blaring everywhere, dead dogs EVERYWHERE, traffic lines at the border, intermittant utilities, bad drivers, drunk drivers, horrible smells, useless school system, ignorant and racist attitudes to Gringos, the World, and Life, etc. But then there are the good parts too; cheap ocean views, good/cheap beer and pussy, good/cheap labor(car repairs, house construction, etc), good prepared food, and incredibly cheap and efficient public transportation. The thing is, for the most part, the Zona Norte is a concentration of all the good and bad things I mentioned about Mexico. Sometimes I enjoy Mexico and the Zona Norte, and other times I think; "WHAT A FUCKING SHITHOLE!!". The fact is, I'm proud to be an American. I'd love to spend all my time "en este lado" - but that good/cheap Mexican pussy, beer, and ocean views keep bringing me back. But then after a few days of Mexican culture every week - I'm always VERY happy to come back to America.
