The name of this place in in Thai. As you walk in you will see Shark written on the floor.

I have had some fun nights in this go go. Tonight it was very slow inside Shark. I did get much attention from several girls. Which is nice. They had one girl that danced extremely well and dirty. I tried to get her to compete in the upcoming dance contest in Nana.

The bar has some hotties. They didn't have too many girls working. The hello girls were very fun and very friendly.

Shark Bar has some fun and friendly BG's that are happy to approach you. I know some of the BG's and they do dance quite well. Shark Bar can be a bit hit or miss, but that's not the BG's fault. Most of the BG's here are really cool.

I'm glad to see this bar getting some coverage. This has been a regular stop of mine for some time and I always have as blast partying here. Although not quite what I call stunners, I've several very "close" friends from here... They just about gang rape me when they see me enter..

Can be a bit hit or miss, but that is down to poor management. The BG's in Shark are enthusiastic and friendly enough, and like you say DM well worth a visit. It seems underrated to me too, so I posted up an update.

Out of the few bars I hit the other night this one was my favorite on Cowboy. Some decent eye candy here. Some of the girls were dancing really sexy. Alot of smiles from the stage.

Primarily what I ask for in a gogo. Good fun atmosphere. A few hot girls [more the better of course]. Girls that are friendly, interact, smile often. This bar had all 3 last night.

A good friend of mine has a regular girl in Shark, so I've been in with him a number of times. As with all Cowboy bars, the quality of the dancers can vary radically. They do have some good looking hostesses (non-dancers) though, and not too many bars in Cowboy have non-dancers, other than regular service girls, who go with customers (I think Baccara and, to a lesser degree, Midnite do have some hostesses). I took a Bangkok hostess from Shark when you were in town last time. You may recall the evening, as you couldn't believe that I was hesitating on whether or not to go with her. She still works there. Still sits with me every time I hit the bar. Great face, but turns out that shyness isn't the only reason she isn't spinning around a pole. Same problem I run into with service girls...great face, some sort of body problem. But, whatcha gonna do? I'm a sucker for women in a gogo bar who don't get up on stage (hostesses, service staff, cashiers...)

By the way, your comment about a good, fun atmosphere was spot on. The girls here just seem happier than in most other Cowboy gogos. Even if there's nobody I want to go with, I usually have at least a decent time when my buddy and I hit Shark. There are other Cowboy bars that I, personally, prefer. But this is the one that has the most consistent party atmosphere.

I have reviewed Shark in great detail in my column because it stands out head-and-shoulders above the other go-go bars in Soi Cowboy. These girls can really Dance, some are tall and leggy, and most have terrific firm figures. Fun and friendly and Shark have a great Happy Hour too.

WD, seems we have the same taste in bars once again! Glad to see my postive feedback about this bar is still accurate.

As of the current writing, Shark has an outstanding lineup of dancers. It is probably the best overall bar on Cowboy, right now. Dollhouse can, of a given night, give it a run for the money, but Shark has more girls and a better overall atmosphere. The quality of some of the girls at Shark is absolutely top-notch, and most of the other Cowboy bars pale in comparison.

Mano and I continuing our pub crawl walked in here last night. It is my favorite bar in Cowboy. True I haven't walked into numerous Cowboy bars this trip but and can't go wrong walking in here. Great atmosphere as usual quite a few hotties running around and some good old fashioned dirty dancing going on.

As I just posted in the Bangkok discussion thread, Shark is by far and away the best bar in Cowboy at the moment. Strong lineup, and also decent prices on the drinks, a refreshing change from the gouging going on elsewhere. I found a real winner out of this bar and did her 4 times this trip.

Still the best go-go in Cowboy in my opinion. Plenty of hotties and smiles.

A little over one year on from my last post about Shark, and not only is it still the best bar on Soi Cowboy, it was IMO the best gogo in Bangkok, of all that I visited. Shark had by far and away the strongest lineup, recently boosted by the defection of a number of girls from Rainbow 3 in Nana (including my fave RB3 girl from last year's trip). Good music too. Big thumbs up from the Purple One.

Shark in my opinion has taken a small hit. Perhaps Baccara next door stole some thunder away from this bar. Still a great, fun bar with plenty of hotties. However I escaped the crowd at Baccara last night and entered Shark to find plenty of open seats.

Thumbs up my favorite place on Soi Cowboy also. Last time I was in Sharks I ended up going with one of the greeter hello gals too.

NO! my beloved Shark bar has fell from grace. Still worth a look and the weekend had a decent line up but nowhere near the level of talent they have had in the past.
