Surprised there isn't a report on this bar yet. Have been here before and usually give it a pass. Last night the place was packed with Farang/Japanese types. Quite a few cute dancing girls and a couple of them had fantastic bodies. Much improved since the last time I entered.

Rainbow 2 for the eye candy. [can't be beat] Rainbow 1 is still better overall imo.

I've found several gems in RB 3 over the years, including one very special one on my last trip. I've written about RB 3 in my reports, but very rarely post about my gogo experiences in these various Discus threads on any bar. Just one of those things I never get around to, and I imagine the story is the same same for a bunch of others as well.

Some pretty girls but microspinners if that is your thing. I did not see the japanese tilt. Cold looks from girls so I picked a waitress instead with pretty smile. CBJ so not inspiring, big bruise from thai bf on stomach, trying to hide it during sex. I thought selection was good but bit put down by non smiling dancers.

I just got back from my 8th visit to Thailand. I did not have a lot of time on my own as I was meeting up with a Bangkok favorite of mine to take to Phuket. I did manage two free nights on my own to sample the girls of Nana Plaza. On both nights I ended up with a cutie from Rainbow 3. The first night I picked a 24 year old named Opal from Rainbow 3. Opal’s fee was 1500 baht. I had a great time with this Thai beauty. Here are a few photos of Opal.

Tonight RAINBOW THREE opens after renovations. So for those that enjoyed visiting here it's back in action again. This is the 3rd renovated Rainbow Bar and the Rainbow Bars certainly seem to be a license to print Baht!

After I finished my session with Nam last night from Angel Witch, I headed back to NP and went to RB III. It's a long story which I'll get to in the actual trip report, but I was looking for my special honey from the last trip.

After talking with one of the service girls who used to be her roommate (and is doing some investigative work for me), I settled in to survey the talent. Nothing struck me until the dance shift changed, then whoa, major spinner alert. There was an uber spinner up there who weighed all of 85 pounds or so.

Pulled her off the stage in no time, and after drinks and interview, pulled the trigger for round two that night. She couldn't do long time either, as she is a university student with early morning classes, but that was ok with me, as I had LT the previous 4 nights in a row.

Back to the hotel. Wow, what a body. Not an ounce of fat. It was rock hard, the nipples stuck out Murasaki style, and she was tight, tight, tight. Totally fit the bill. Two great spinner sessions last night. I am a happy man today.

The line up is still not strong in Rainbow 3, but they do have a few very nice spinners that you need to be patient for. Got a girl out of there last night from Chiang Mai, looked somewhat Chinese. Another total hardbody. She'd been working there for 5 days. Turned out to be the "fresh of the bus" girl for this trip, as she was quite inexperienced. But it was actually a pretty good session, despite no long-time, a problem I have been encountering A LOT on this trip.

if no LT is a problem screen 'em on it. If a monger asks if they want LT or ST, 90% of the time it's going to be ST in BKK... however a little chit chat about the subject and I find the around 80% of the gals happily agree to LT. The other 20% better be ready to fuck like rabbits, as that is their only purpose in life...

Gratz on digging up a looker in RB3-- that is quite an achievement !

Actually, depending on the night, there are a fair few lookers at Rainbow III. And it's never crowded. The odds are in your favor, there. And, while the mamasan may ask who you want or make suggestions, it isn't an overly pushy type of set-up. Though I don't get there an awful lot, I do think that this place is under-rated.

RAINBOW 3 - This is one of the legendary Rainbow Group and it's encouraging to know that people rate it as an OK bar. I looked in recently and it is better than a lot of bars I could mention outside of Nana Plaza. I have certainly seen a lot worse in my day. There are lessons to learn here, Mano and Murasaki are patient/cool guys and will not rush from bar to bar in search of their prey like headless chickens! Take your time to explore places it's not supposed to be a speed test with time restrictions LOL!

DM, I have pulled many hot girls out of RB III over the years. Just because the stage isn't packed with hotties doesn't mean the bar is devoid of talent. You need to be patient in there, but I have gotten some gems.

Now regarding the LT, that's one of the problems: girls lying about intentions. I'll say I want LT, but they'll "change" it to ST after the first round. In fact, I meant to mention this under the RBI thread, but the last girl I took out of there, who was hastening to beat the clock back to the bar, told me that RB I pays the girls 200 baht if they return to work before midnight after being barfined. She wanted to get back before midnight. Not sure how many other bars are doing this now.

Well spotted Murasaki, I do know of this policy. NB. The 200 baht BF bonus is only payable from the 10th BF upwards. Most bars pay around 100-150 baht maximum. RB bars have raised the BF bonuses and are the only bar that I'm aware of that pay this much. Well investigated Batman!

So it may cost an extra 200 baht at times to prevent a runner I guess. Not a bad investment. If she is a real hottie however she could pull another barfine that night as well. In that case it would be best to Barfine for LT after 11 PM - catch em on the rebound .
Last trip I had I think 5 barfines from Rainbow bars and all stayed LT without even mentioning leaving. Of course I had them out at discos or somewhere until well after 2 AM so would have been hard to return to the bar !

I agree with DM at least as of October- it was porker central then ( sorry Porker) . We were patient and actually had a couple of drinks there. For about a year now it has been dismal. If it has improved now it's a sudden turn around.

A couple of years ago when RB3 first opened it was Little Tokyo 2 . Wall to wall Japanese - almost as many as RB 2 - putting up a smoke screen and sipping on a beer until something caught their eye. Then they were gone in 60 seconds with their 3 minute honey! At that time there were quite a few hotties but you could not see them thru the smoke and they definitely could not see a white guy - but not because of the smoke.

Dave, considering I typically barhop around 4-5 hours before making a pull or deciding not to make a pull, I can safely say I've more patience than 99% of the folks out there. Now why would you assume my not liking the bar has something to do with patience? If I like a place I state so, if I don't I say so.

As for your logic, "it's not the best, it's not the worst" to me that's a losers game. I don't set my sights for something that is not the worst-- I aim for the best (IMHO). I don't think to myself, "well this girl is okay for me because there are uglier ones around..."

Of course I would much rather be in RB3 than just about any bar in the states, but when I'm in LoS, I'm in LoS, not in the USA. If folks like to chill there GREAT, but I would rather be in Soi Cowboy and you know how I feel about that... I don't like mostly tunas pressed tighly on stage, I don't like the dark and dinghy lighting, the music leaves a lot to be desired, and I like my lungs in tact.

Thank you DM, I have and will enjoy. I'm quite comfortable with my choices out of there, despite your strong convictions that no hotties, or even decent-looking girls for that matter, have ever worked the joint, and despite you making assessments on current conditions in a given bar given the fact you are on the other side of the globe. Your long-range vision is truly amazing! I'd kill for that kind of eye-sight.

Murasaki-- please quote where I said current? I stated my opinion based on my trips to the bar-- if you feel the need to be flipant about me stating my opinion, or to brush it off as not being patient, then so be it.

It's been a whole 3 weeks since I was at the bar and I'll be back there in another two weeks... You got any pictures of some of the RB3 "current" hotties? It will help in case my vision can't cut thru the smoke.

Hey DM, come on man I was just joking. You know I respect your mongering experience and taste. In your defence I will say that you have extremely high standards and that's not a bad thing. Also photos would help to substantiate these claims, I definately agree to that statement. People obviously have different tastes and this makes life interesting.

Hey Murasaki, you only need one hot babe that pops your cork and RB-3 is a great bar for you. I know you have a good eye for the spinners, so I take your word for it. Keep up the good work, you are posting more reports than CNN. I do agree with DM that photos would substantiate your claims for the guys who are not currently here in LOS.

No offense taken DtR--my "losers game" comment wasn't mean to imply anything but the obvious (see example below). It is not I who have taken exception (I did say gratz to saki for finding a looker), but rather him at me stating my opinion that the bar is severely lacking in most respects.

Here's where I'm coming from... If someone owns a bar (or any other endevour for that matter), they should be committed to making it the best they can (that is fiscally responsible). I am hard on bars because I think customers should expect more than they are getting. I love going to LoS, but as I've said for some time, I feel the gogo bars are bordering on extinction. There are perhaps 3-4 GOOD gogos, a fair number of hit or miss types, then a whole bunch of what I deam wrecking material. What should I do sit around with my fellow LoS-lovers and say how wonderful the bar scene is while more and more people bolt to PI, Indo, etc?

For example, AW upgraded the bathrooms (did they really need to/ was there places which had worse bathrooms?) did the bar have to computerize client facing operations? (of course not), did they need to resurface the bar top along the stage (no one probably noticed), does the DJ have to come up with new and creative material? (nope)... Point is there is a drive for excellence and your ownership is looking to make the bar the best he can and it shows.

Sure I'm hard on certain places, because they aren't willing to do what it takes. Their attitude is clearly to do as little as possible, take what tablescraps they can, and/or turn into a high pressure fest. When I walk into a bar and it's dark, ventilation is terrible, seating is borderline or shitty, and talent is terrible (I'm not saying there can't be a diamond in the rough)-- then the bar IMHO (I repeat IMHO) is not deserving of my baht. That's that.

Don Marco, I think most guys would find your comments difficult to argue with. You have very high standards, shame that some bar owners don't think like you. I am one guy here who gets frustrated with bar owners who just sit back and do nothing. BTW most of the bar owners in Pattaya are far worse than the BKK bosses. The one thing that motivates the Pattaya bar owners is the sheer volume of competition.

And by the way, you weren't talking about bar conditions earlier in the thread, there was just your comment about the girls. Forgive me if I mis-interpreted your statement, but it didn't come across very well given the context.

What I don't understand is why you have visited this bar apprx 100 times. If you've never seen a hottie there, then why do you keep going back? I like the place and probably have only been there 20 times, if that.

So, I was far from flippant and being quite honest relaying my experiences. You don't have to read into what I write, as I try to write what I mean...

I go back because the alternative is that I hang out in AW, RB1, RB2/4, g-spot (very spotty) all night, every night in nana... and that gets old regardless of how good the bars are. There are certainly diamonds in the rough scattered around and I didn't intend to imply that there are not. That is why I congrad'ed you on finding one in fact...

Of as for the #s, I've had the luxury of being in LoS quite a bit. When I go out, I nearly always survey most bars/girls before pulling the trigger. If I go to nana 100 times, I would probably pop in for a drink at 2nd tier bars around 85 times and have a drink durng my rounds. I just wouldn't stay longer than 1 drink unless there was a reason to do so.

Popped in a couple times this trip and will alter my previous comments/opinions. The bar has cut back on smoke (or did they cut back on customers?) and has okay seating. However, the music still sucks and the girls would be OKAY if I hadn't seen one in 5 years, but then again... GONG!@

RAINBOW 3 has improved as the cash take has risen (I know the owner). They have started to do some sexy shows and think this is there only alternative for them. Rainbow Group are not known for shows at all, but RB-3 can't compete with the big guns so this is probably a wise decision. Have a look and see what you think.

Spied a stunning spinner here last night. Not many spinners here although many girls with hard bodies. Worth a beer and a look in my opinion.

I still support Rainbow III. Doesn't have the "factory" atmosphere of Rainbow IV. Always has a fair few lookers, and I've found one of the mamasans here to be the most helpful in the plaza. Yeah, it's relatively small and there is some pressure to barfine, but, all in all, I rarely fail to have a good time here.

Since I was checking out the other rainbow bars might as well head to Rainbow 3. Actually late night wasn't too bad here. The music was loud and upon entry we were given the two hottest girls at the bar. Usually I don't like a pushy mamasan but she did push the hottest girls on me and my wingman.

After mongering in brazil for a couple of years, I decided to give LoS a try.

Rainbow 3 is run by some motherf**ckin asshole. The dude at the door selectively lets people in (based on the skin color I guess). I was pissed off with this place and instead picked 2 girls from angel witch. Dave...your place rocks!

Had a similar experience at Rainbow 4. Stay away from the Rainbow clubs.

If you hit it on the right night at the right time, Rainbow 3 IMO has the best lineup in Nana, considering the ratio to size factor. In particular, I am smitten with a spinner here that I done three times this trip. DATY is a complete pleasure with her.

I seem to have more success finding attractive girls at Rainbow3 than any other Nana gogo bar. Here are some pictures of 20 year old Om.

Historically, RB3 has been one of the alltime best bars for me. I wonder if that historical streak is now history. My two visits had me scampering for the door in a matter of seconds. Never have I seen things so bad here.

Since I had the number for my little spinner from the last trip, an SMS from her told me that she had moved to Shark over on the Cowboy. During our post-coital discussion, she said that she moved over with 4-5 other girls. They all got fed up with the mama-san. She said a lot of other girls quit and moved to other bars besides Shark. Apparently the mama-san there is not winning any popularity contests these days.

They have expanded this bar and is quite a bit bigger now. I am told they took all the rainbow 1 girls and moved them here. Quite a few girls dancing here and worth a look.

Rainbow gives you a card at the bar with a supposed price: 600b bar fine, 2000b ST and 4000b LT. Pisses me off. But I offered both 1500 ST and while both made reference to the card, I told them that was what I was prepared to offer. Both accepted. I softened the blow with gifts from Victoria's Secret that set me back about $6

A price card? That's new. I've only seen that in the Arab's bars in Cowboy. I hope the Rainbow bars aren't heading further downhill, but that is not a good sign.

Did they finish the renovations and expansion of the bar? The place was a construction zone in January.

The price card was quite an unwelcome surprise. I can't verify that all the Rainbow bars are using them, as I only went in RB3. It's not a good sign.

The renovations seem done, and the layout was pretty nice.

Jrsx, good one. She's the very definition of spinner. Mai is her tequila drinking buddy. Pom was a better fuck, skill-wise, but Mai was very GFE.

I got the price card at several locations in Nana. Hollywood Rock is one that comes to mind and RB3 also.

Not good. Did you pull any girls from those places? If so, did the girls insist on those prices? I pulled my two girls early (like 9) and told them they'd be back in the bar by 11 and could find another customer, so 1500 was fair.

BD, No I didn't. The one I did try to negotiate with at Hollywood wouldn't budge off the card prices.
