Thanks for posting that article. I don't want to rehash all of last year's discussions on the ethical implications of mongering. Nevertheless, I am troubled by the scenarios of "slavery" and ruthless criminal enterprises. I do not like the MP scene and brothels in US for some of these reasons. I like to think (rationalizing my behavior) that at least in TJ the women are exercising a more open and deliberate choice to work in a legal occupation. Granted this "choice" is conditioned by a profound lack of economic opportunity in Mexico. Still in the shadows of my conscience, I wonder to what extent the brothels in TJ are also a form of criminal enterprise?
