Gentlemen, Just wanted to post my experiences about my first two trips to the Zona. I moved to San Diego about two months ago, so I am among the lucky few who can zip down to TJ at virtually any time. After a couple of weeks here, I couldn't hold out any longer and I headed to the Zona. I had been down to TJ several times to shop and poke around, so I was somewhat familiar with the city. After reviewing the maps found on the Redsnake site, I saw that the Zona was a lot closer than I thought to the Revolucion shopping district. Since I had always walked to Revolucion, I decided to walk to the Zona after grabbing some lunch in TJ. I wlaked into Adelita's late on a Saturday afternoon. There were a few of the chicas dancing (stripping) and a rather large crowd. After being bitched at by one of the waiters to move from where I was standing, I managed to get a Corona and grab a seat at the bar near the men's room. There I sat for well over an hour just watching the scenery. Admittedly, I was a little leary about approaching any of the chicas, so I waited for one to approach me. One of the chicas walked over and introduced herself as Yesseeecah (jessica) and immediately flashed her breasts. She was about average looks, not really overweight but what I would describe as healthy. She wanted me to buy her a drink, but I hesitated. So, she then whispered in my ear "Much sucky, fuck for you." I asked how much, she said $30 and away we went to the room. We headed to the hotel and I paid the $10 for the room. Incidentally, I didn't find the hotel to be as repulsive as described on the various boards. Once inside the room, this "fine" chica jacks the price up to $40 on me. Not wanting a scene or any trouble on my first Zona trip, I caughed up the extra cash. We then proceeded with the deed. She was defintely a clock watcher. Apparently, I was not finishing fast enough for her and she kept telling me so. She also kept trying to talk me into anal for additional $$, but I said no. Finally, after her hurrying things up the entire time, the desired result was achieved and she hurriedly dressed. She kept calling me a cheapskate and I left the room. I tipped the towel boy and headed outside. It was dark, so I took a cab back to the border. This was a Saturday evening about 6:00, so the roads were busy. Halfway back, the cabby jacks the price up to $10 on me, asking if it was OK, but implying that I could get out and walk if it wasn't. I was pissed, but I paid the $10 and waited in line for 30 min at the border. I got back home, pissed off, resolving never to go back to the Zona and intending to post my feelings. Total cost of this trip: $64. Grade: D- Just yesterday, I decided to give the Zona one last try. I took the trolley down to the border about 10:00. I took a cab and, amazingly, got a no-bullshit ride to Adelita's for $5. This trip was already starting out better. I arrived at Adelita's about 10:30, it was a Thurs. evening. I grabbed a Corona and hung out at the bar for a while. Once again, I was still uncomfortable approaching the chicas. I watched the scenery for about 1 1/2 hours. The quality of chicas was much better at this time of the evening. Around midnight, I decided that time was getting short to make the border and the last trolley, so I had to act. I had been watching one in particular for quite some time and I moved closer to her. Once I got up the nerve to approach her, she had moved. After scanning the bar, I saw her again and headed her way. On the way over, I saw a striking beauty standing near the one I had been watching. I approached her instead. She was smal, about 5'6" or so, beautiful, young, with that schoolgirl look, including braces. She told me her name was Amy and, after I broached the subject, she quoted me $50. Although I briefy tried, she would not budge. I liked her so much that I gave in and we headed to the room. Paid the $10 for the room and headed in. She didn't even collect the money ahead of time, we just started. Typical fare, won't decsribe the details, lots of oral and on to the deed. She was very good. While she was not hurrying me, she became a little worried after some time that I was not finishing. Seems that she thought she was not good enough, NOT TRUE! We continued, right up to the dreaded knock. Rather than jumping up when the knock came, she completed the task with a little hand action. I was satisfied in every way, only wishing I could have more time. She had told me that she was only 19, a big turn on for me. She also told me she was from Guadalajara. I aksed when she usually worked, she told me this weekend only. She is on vacation here. My only disappointment of the night. We exchanged pleasantries and she headed out. I followed closely, tipped the towel boy, and headed outside. I was cutting it close for the last trolley, so I quickly grabbed a cab to the border. This time, I made sure it would be $5 and the cabby agreed. He got me to the border in a hurry. I paid him the $5 and tossed him a buck for helping me make it on time. He asked what it was for, thinking I made a mistake. That was refreshing. I barely made the trolley. Rode back, got in my car and drove home. Enjoyed the afterglow all of the way. This trip was definitely a winner. Total cost of this trip: $74. Grade: A- Gentlemen, I am afraid I may have unleashed the beast. I anjoiyed myself so much, that I will no doubt be back again...and again...and again. I am going to try to restrict myself to a diet of every other week. Help me to do this. I had the pleasure (?) of trying some stateside providers back in the Denver, CO area near where I am from. The chicas have the americans beat by far. This is not only by cost, but service as well. I have been lurking here for some time and finally decided to post. I thank all of you for your information. I apologize for this lengthy post, but I hope that it might help some other relative newbies. I'd be happy to meet up with any of you, newbies or experienced, here in SD or over on the TJ side. Now, I have to resist the temptation for a return trip before she disappears...
