Before anyone gets pissed and starts flaming, Yes, I have done my research and checked the archives, blah blah blah, but I think I have actually stumbled onto a unique path...check this out: 1. Follow the typical pedestrian traffic flow West on Articulo 123 until you hit Revolucion. 2. Cross Revolucion to the South side of Articulo 123 and then walk diagonally (Southwesterly direction) down the little shopping plaza until you are standing on the Northeast corner of Constitucion and Jaurez (2nd). 3. Cross to the West side of Constitucion and head directly North to the Zona, crossing Articulo 123 and walking Ratero Hill on the West side of the street... Positives: 1. You avoid Articulo 123 between Revolucion and Constitucion 2. On the West side of Constitucion between Juarez (2nd) and Articulo 123 you pass the Calimax grocery, where you can either buy some munchies, or flirt with the cute, young register operators, or both. Negatives: 1. You still have to navigate Ratero Hill 2. It is not a direct shot to the Zona. My anwer to the two negatives is that first, Ratero Hill is "probably" better navigated on its Western side and is better approached from the South rather than from the East, where you have to turn a blind corner...from the South you are navigating Ratero Hill on your own terms-- you are "driving" Ratero Hill instead of Ratero Hill driving you... Second, if the most infamous stretch of street in all of TJ (Articulo 123 between Revolucion and Constitucion) can be avoided, a little jag in your walking path is definitely worth it... For all of you mongers who park and walk (we keep our cars north of the border, thank you) here's wishing you a safe 2001... YoungBrig
