Not that uncommon. I've met two in the Zona in the last two years...both from D.F. and both lived in France for a period of time. One was married to a French guy and lived in Paris for 5 years. Also the French influence in Mexico is rather great, since they controlled it for a while...Maximillian was the installed French emperor...Cinco de Mayo is all about the liberation of Mexico from France...
