Luvdog, I appreciate your reporting. I hope the streets fill up with honest cops to prevent the commission of crime and catch people who have actually committed crimes. But I am no more going to celebrate "random" raids on private places because they are in Mexico, then I would if police carried out such raids in private residences in the U.S. (which of course would be unconstitutional under our country's system of requiring probable cause as a prerequisite for invading the privacy of citizens). I would not want to anticipate a time that the TJ police will be breaking down the doors of the rooms at Cascadas, Rio D'Orzo, etc. to conduct random searches on putas and their clients. Drugs may ruin the lives of individuals who make the choice to abuse them, but they are not a significant cause of crime. Drug Prohibition is a significant cause of crime...the most significant cause.
