The logistics are a bit off. Actually filmed in the Hill Country of Central Texas, outside San Antonio or Austin. They try to pass it off as West Texas (Amarillo or El Paso or some flat place). Any Texan knows the difference between the locations. That would be like taking the Piney Woods of deep SouthEast Texas and saying it was the area outside of Wichita Falls (the only trees around WF are Mesquite trees)... rodetrip
