INTRODUCTION
First off, thanks to Alecjamer and other Panama posters. Their posts and direct advice have been instrumental in providing the basis of my preparation and research.
Alecjamer already has a more comprehensive guide on Panama (Click here for guide) but after reviewing it before a recent return trip to Panama, I noticed that our styles are much different. AJ's guide covers more topics including semi-pro strategy and more, but only briefly covers lodging and hobbying establishments. This guide will be the opposite with more focus on the establishments, little coverage on semi-pro places, and nothing on street talent nor semi-pros working casinos.
With that, enjoy the guide!
QUICK FACTS
PASSPORT/VISA: Passports must be valid for at least 6 months after date of departure. Tourist cards are issued for the US, Canada, Australia and most EU countries with price determined by nationality. I didn't record the amount in my notes, but according to AJ it's $5 for US Citizens.
AIRPORT FEES: Departure tax is $20 US. Your airline may include this tax in the cost of your ticket. Check beforehand if you are not sure.
ELECTRICITY: 120 volts AC at 60 Hz with standard two-prong US-style outlets.
WEATHER: Rainy season runs from mid-April to December. Temperatures are relatively consistent throughout the year from 72°F to 90°F.
CURRENCY: US Dollar. I always bring lots of $1's for cab fares, sometimes it's hard to get change.
TAXIS: Fixed rate from the airport is $25. It's better to arrange transportation in advance through your hotel. Hotel Marparaiso is one that offers free pickup. Rates within the city should be $1-$2, though a couple drivers wouldn't take me to Capri for less than $3. See Transportation section for more information.
LODGING
There are a lot more places to stay, but these are the best I've found so far in their respective price ranges.
Hotel Maraparaiso: $25/single. Basic, but free airport pickup and free internet use (hotel computers only) make for a good deal for at least the first night.
Hotel California: $25/single. One of the nicer budget hotels. I actually only stayed in two, but I visited a number of them.
Torres de Alba: $75+/single. My favorite place to stay thus far. Huge, well furnished rooms. Internet Cafe below offers free wi-fi. Veneto Casino is right across the street.
Sevilla Suites: $70+/single. Near Via Veneto, but down a side street. I also enjoyed my stay here.
TRANSPORTATION
Alecjamer has a good strategy in his guide for paying the lowest prices, I recommend reading it for this as well as his other comments on taxi strategy and safety. I didn't follow his rate advice, but only paid more than $2 on two occasions, both on visits to Club Capri.
A couple points I'll emphasize is to completely avoid English speaking drivers that wait outside heavy tourist areas and NEVER agree to let a taxi driver wait for you. Failure to follow this advice will likely result in overpaying and being charged $20 or more for waiting time.
Some establishments such as Golden Time pay a commission to taxi drivers, so avoid taking a taxi directly to these establishments when possible, otherwise you may be charged up to $10 extra or more.
P4P ESTABLISHMENTS
I've listed these in order of recommendation with only some brief comments. For more details, try clicking on the links to the corresponding topics. These rankings reflect my current tastes which are based on attractiveness/cost/service and weighted in the same order. As you go further down the list, there is less differentiation in the rankings. In other words, after Club Capri my preferences on where to visit are much less substantial and more dependant on my particular modd on the given night.
Here's a link to a map which may also be useful. Club Fenix = Club Capri. Also the location of Caribean Center and Club Miami are slightly off, but shouldn't be a problem to find.
Golden Time: 7days. Takeout available for additional fee. Small rooms and covered blowjobs, but the BEST average lineup in quality of looks out of the MANY places I've visited in Central and South America. I ask to be taken to the "Super 99 in El Dorado" and just walk across the street to avoid paying the taxi commission.
Club Miami: 7days. Opens early with a decent day shift available. Strip club layout but technically a brothel with onsite rooms. Watch drink costs here as they can add up. From the Super 99 walk in the opposite direction of Golden Time and around the corner to the right to find Miami. A Citibank office is directly across the street.
Club Capri: 7days. Cover charge is $3. It's farther than most places but has some nice talent at $36 for 20 minutes with strict time limits. If 20 minutes is too short, Golden Time is a much better deal. Strip shows run often and the lounge area is large. They also have an attached restaurant. This is located in an area where you want to be dropped off directly, fortunately there's no taxi commission to the best of my knowledge.
Le Palace: 7days. I am probably overly generous with ranking this strip club this highly, but I do like the attractiveness of the ladies here. This club is only feasible as a afterhours/next-day arranging option, take-out fee is ridiculously overpriced. I believe the current fee is higher than the $130 quoted in the topic. Drinks and lapdances are also overpriced here, but at least there is no drink minimum.
Elite II: 7days. I didn't visit on my most recent trip, but had success here in the past. Setup is similar to Le Palace but Elite has a drink minimum in the form of a cover charge. Arranging a date the same night will set you back at least $300.
*Crystal Moon: Technically, I shouldn't list this place because I've never been. I had planned on it but was too tempted to return to GT and Capri on my short trip. I am including it here based on my assumptions from research on the facilities and talent available. There is not much info in the topic, so hopefully someone else will add more. Before visiting, you might want to double check the status of this club as I vaguely recall reading somewhere that the owner or co-owner was having some legal problems.
Habanos: Habanos is mainly a cigar shop but has an attached bar and outdoor lounge area. Freelancers are mostly (maybe all?) Colombians that usually ask $100 but may be bargained down for less. One asked me for $150 which I declined. Talent is a clear step down from places like GT and the strip clubs. This is not on the map referenced above but easy to find since it's directly across the street from the Marriot.
Oasis Massage: Not the best lineup, on my visits has always had at least one lady I liked. If you arrive early you can get a special lunchtime rate of $50. Takeout is also available here. This is very close to the Veneto Casion.
La Mayor: At $15 prices here are very low and talent was impressive considering, but location is in a rougher part of town and the atmosphere might be a little too intense for the average hobbyist. I found a couple nice ladies here and will probably return.
Hawaii Center Massage: I only had one visit, but I found a great catch here. There were only about 5 or so available. I was looking forward to visiting again my last trip, but I didn't make it.
Acuarius Massage: On my single visit to this place they only had three ladies, but two of them were attractive. I'm pretty sure they pay taxi commissions, so get dropped off nearby and walk. There are plenty of places nearby to get dropped off at. Note that you'll have to walk into a parking lot to find this place, you can't see it from the street.
Life Girls: I've only been once and found two reasonably attractive ladies, but I didn't partake so I can't comment much. I had read they went from brothel to strip club, that was one of the reasons I left since I didn't want to even consider paying a takeout fee given the level of talent. I'll be willing to try again in the future. This is located a little to the right of Rey supermarket on Via Espana.
Caribean Center Massage: I made a couple visits here and sessioned once but I was settling on my pick. On the positive side they had a fair number of ladies working. Talent may fluctuate so it might be worth a stop in to window shop at no charge. You can also just opt for a straight massage.
La Bodeguita: I personally didn't enjoy this bar/disco/restaurant much but others do. I thought it was too crowded with men far outnumbering ladies, but others have had much better luck here. I doubt that I'll return myself.
Bolero's: I believe Bolero's is actually the name of the Cuban restaurant next door. The bar where the ladies are seemed to be a separate establishment, but I didn't bother to confirm. In any case I didn't find suitable ladies on two visits. On the other hand, this place has been recommended by several others so it might have just been my timing. According to a recent post by Elimgarak, the window of opportunity is a strict 10:30pm to 11:00pm. I missed it on both nights.
There are a few others I feel weren't worth commenting on and other places I have no experience with, but I think I did a fair job of finding the places with better reputations and then some. For the full list, check the topic Panama City: Bars/Clubs/Massage Parlors
CONCLUSION
Panama City doesn't have a solid reputation as a popular hobbying destination, but it's a place I've very much enjoyed and plan on enjoying more in the future. As time passes, ladies come and go and talent fluctuates. Tastes also vary, so rankings will probably differ for anyone, but hopefully this establishes a good baseline.
Comments and updates are welcome, I'm sure I will be revising this guide in the future after more visits and more experience in this wonderful playground.

I would add the casino in the Veneto Hotel to your list, which is one of if not the best place to find freelancers right now.

Vlad -
You did an excellent job pulling this together. I love the way you linked everything...compresses the guide very well and makes it very convenient for the reader to click on whatever interests him.
Preparing these kind of guides takes a lot of time...hours upon hours of writing, editing and assembling in a logical flow.
Thanks for doing this for all of us who love to monger in Panama.

Great report Vladimir!
Will be staying (hopefully)at the Hotel California
during Carnival, booked first night at the Hotel Maraparaiso.
First two priorities when I arrive at PC:
* Buy cheap cell phone and phone minutes
* Hookup with a reliable, honest, GPS monger Taxi
Driver
My last trip in October was to Sosua, DR I ran into
attack Chica's and TJ type safety concerns.
Don't get the impression the Panamanian and
Columbian girls will be quite as HARD.......
Mongering should be about extending our adventures.....I definitely want to check out those
'Push Button Hotels', find some darker complected
Panamanian Chicas, offer refuge for those lubricated and exhausted Carnival wenches, order
in a hot model, maybe take the two on one nooner at the Oasis, travel outside of PC and find a sweet
Village hottie that gives her all(FREEEE!) with a smile.
A Big Thanks to you Vladimir (And AJ) for breaking it down.......I'm definitely getting in the MOOD.....

Cebu98 -
Carnival 2007...I'm excited for you. Just remember that during Carnival everybody blows-off work...so it may be a bit of a challenge to find pros working at MPs. Since everything is service related in Panama...during Carnival service sometimes sucks.
Not that it will be hard to get laid if you got game...I think it was Sniper or perhaps someone else that offered his hotel room to some hot and sweaty chicas to rest, shower, and get refreshed for more partying...then out of gratitude the chicas laid him.
I admire your goals...Le Greta Azul (The Blue Goose) or Le Meyor are good places to find darker complected women. Of course, hit the thickest part of the drunken crowd during Carnival and you are assured to find ebony wenches flaunting their wares.
When you get to Marparaiso...I recall that there was a tall and well stacked ebony chica working reception...still on my wish list...however, I have no probs vicariously enjoying her via your upcoming report.
Enjoy your trip.

can anyone recomend any reliable mongering tour guides for the panama area
By Catocony on Friday, February 09, 2007 - 02:48 pm: Edit
You don't need a guide for Panama City, it's easy enough to get around on your own.
By Alecjamer on Friday, February 09, 2007 - 08:40 pm: Edit
Sgipson12 -
Advertise for a trip buddy...Elim spends a lot of time down there and there are a few guys on this board that live there. You might find someone who is available to show you around. But just like Cat says...PC is pretty easy to get around...taxis will take you everywhere.
Also, nothing wrong with meeting with fellow club members, buy a few rounds of drinks, hangout for a while then go whorehouse hopping (Le Meyor, Greta Azul, Fenix/Capri & numerous MPs).

Sgipson12:
Alecjamer wrote the book on mongering in Panama City. He is the master, I am his padawan, like many other guys here.
If you want a comprehensive view that will give you power when you get there, like you have actually been there before with authority, then spend a bunch of time digesting AJ's guide. Like anywhere else, PC is a fun place if you know how to play it. Right now it is the Wild West and a lot of fun as far as I am concerned, but this will change as things become more built up there. The next generation of Panamanian chicas will be more educated and amero-euro "sophisticated," most likely to the point where they won't be that much fun any more and just like dating the latina girl next door........not to discount that Latina chicas, no matter where you date them, are always going to be more sensual and a far better lay than american-euro chic with an taste for western culture and greed. But right now.......RIGHT NOW, seize the moment! The world is changing and becomming more homogenized, steralized and generally dull.....so seize the day lad! I hope to be rocking on my porch with some of you in my 90's reminising of all the lovely sexual experiences and girls we once knew back in the days when romantic jargon and the playful escapades of the "real man" actually meant something....

I met a very nice Columbiana at the Metronome (?) casino. It's on Ave Balboa, right near Bennigan's and Hard Rock. Seems like another good place. Oh by the way, Vlad, that girl you photoed is something else

I highly recommend Golden Time... really hard to find anything less than a 7-8 in the lineup, many 9-10s. Cost was $84 for an hour ($10 more if you arrive by taxi).
Did I mention that I found the girls to be really attractive?

Hey Guys,
I am arriving in Panama on Thursday (June 14 07). I would like to meet someone to just give me a heads up on the current doings about town. Definitely would spring for the beer.

Hey everybody,
I have been in town here in PC for the last 3 weeks and I must say that I am blown away by all of the possibilities for trim. I tried the Caribbean Center (apparently I have been living right next door to this establishment and did not even know it - smile). Definitely was worth the money (90 bucks - I gladly tipped my hostess with the mostest!).
I have been very successful here with meeting and bedding down chicas here (truth be told - for money - but out of all the years of buying pussy I must say I am getting the most bang for my buck/fuck here - pun intended).
Habanos is exactly as described, however there were a nice group of ladies when I was there.
I have eaten at Manolos and checked out the talent that comes in there - did not see anything which made me want to say anything to anyone - however the food is excellent there.
I have been playing Blackjack at the Fiesta Casino next to Veneto's ( I will never play BJ at Veneto's again due to there machines which constantly shuffle the cards which severely minimizes one's chances of winning, While Fiesta's dealers still shuffle by hand.
My first few nights I pulled a couple of chicas out of Veneto's but now I have been venturing out.
I am going to check out some other spots in the next couple of days and I will keep you all updated.
Later!

Caribbean Center should be only $70 per hour, and you don't tip the girl. It's a one-price place - entry, room and chica.
By Alecjamer on Tuesday, July 03, 2007 - 03:45 pm: Edit
Caribbean Center is $20 at the door and $40 for the girl...well, that is what I paid last September. But I did give her an extra $5 tip for good performance.
AJ
By Catocony on Tuesday, July 03, 2007 - 05:15 pm: Edit
You can always pay a la carte and haggle with the girl, or just pay the flat rate. But, either way, it should end up around $60-70 for the hour all inclusive.
By Alecjamer on Wednesday, July 04, 2007 - 04:42 pm: Edit
I've always liked the Caribbean Center...no fuss...no muss. When I visit Panama, I usually swing through the Caribbean Center when I just want to bust a nut. Caribbean Center is predictably consistent. Usually a great massage by a woman eager to please...sex afterwards with the same enthusiasm...no "serious" over-pricing...hey, you can't blame them for asking $90 or $100...but they all will negotiate down to fair and reasonable.
Although I do not recall seeing any women in the Caribbean Center that were absolute stunners (like 9s or 10s), I also can't recall seeing any women there that were below average in looks.
In my years dabbling in this hobby I discovered that average looking women sometimes fuck the best. Likewise, some of my poorest sessions have been with real stunners...go figure? I believe it is all in the attitude.

Hey Guys,
Thanks for the info on the prices. WHile I have been an avid reader of these boards, I still get it wrong sometimes. However, since I have been pretty successful at the BJ tables here with the exception of the Veneto, I have usually used that money for mongering.
I have noticed one thing though, and that is the quality of chica picked up has nothing to do with the venue. What I have seen is this, the chicas at the Veneto Casino all seem to have that plastic, fake beauty and sensuality, while the semi-pros and just plain Panamanian chica is drop-dead gorgeous and ravenous in bed. I did meet one Columbiana over the weekend at habanos who came home with me and stayed all-night and most of the next day for 100 dollars and she rocked my world. Again since I paid with BJ winnings I was happy and so was she.
I have noticed something else, I think some of the working girls and semi-pros know that the Columbiana chicas are getting bad reviews. I say this because in the past few days if a working girl or semi-pro approaches me she quickly shares the fact that she is Panamanian, this almost always piques my interest. Two out of the three Columbianas that I had sex with were somewhat lackluster in performance while the Panamanian chicas were just outstanding.
I must say that this is one of the wildest trips/tours that I have ever served. Oh well, one only lives once huh?
Nuff said,
Happy trails guys!

Don't just love the blackjack rules in Panama? Doubling on 3 cards is awsome. Only drawback is the tables are so low. I don't like to be gambling $50-$100 per hand and everybody else maxing out at $10.

Venato is guest friendly
